  1. That is a great observation. The problem for that is the following: 1, Moncada does not have a smart baseball IQ. 2. Grifol is horrible at in-game decisions and playing smart situational baseball. 3. The entire team probably can't bunt because Grifol and his coaching staff never made the players learn to bunt.
  2. In addition to the last two off-seasons he did nothing, that POS Hahn was suppose to fix this team back in 2016 on the initial rebuild, which he completed bombed on. Yet the this loser gets to keep trying to fix it. Wake the F up Jerry and stop this Insanity of Rick Hahn and flush this entire front office.
  3. The reason nobody wants to read the transaction tracker is because it continues to illustrate how horrible of a job Rick Hahn has done and how he has destroyed this franchise. He came in as GM in 2013. From 2013-2015 he did nothing. In those three years, the Sox were 212-274 .436. They finished 5th, 4th and 4th in those years in the Central division. Then the genius Hahn convinced his demented owner to do a total rebuild in 2016. Tear all down and rebuild it the right way. In the last seven years we can officially grade the 2016 Sox rebuild as a complete trainwreck. Whatever the payroll is for 2024, it should have zero involvement from the worst GM in baseball today and in Sox history.
  4. He will be missed. He was class act and good pitcher for us. He always battled hard and gave 110 percent effort. His fire and passion on the mound and in that dugout, will be missed immensely. Good luck Gio and hope you do great for the Angels and whoever signs you in the off-season.
  5. It's beyond annoying to listen to Hahn's BS arrogance and never once admitting blame on his part. Best line: “Obviously Lucas and Reynaldo’s tenure with the White Sox is not ending in the way we envisioned when we first acquired them,” News Flash Hahn you dumbfu*k! It's your fault your inept organizational player development coaches could not make Lopez more consistent with the talent he possessed and maybe you should have thought about signing Giolito to an extension few years ago, when it wouldn't have cost you as much.
  6. it bothered me too like every damn press conference he holds, where he is so arrogant and the smartest guy in the room.
  7. It sure did work out well for the Rangers. It will now depend on what we get back for Lynn, when he is hopefully traded to finalize the overall grade. Thus far Adam Eaton = Edgar Quero and Ky Bush + players to be determined from Lance Lynn trade.
  8. Actually he does have great stuff, unfortunately he doesn't have any great stuff in his brain or heart. No matter how talented Kelly is, he is still a total choker under big pressure situations.
  9. With the trade of Giolito and Lopez, the Sox second biggest initial 2016 rebuild trade of Adam Eaton, that brought the Sox three pitching prospects is off the books. The three SP's Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez and Dane Dunning for Adam Eaton are all gone.
  10. Will Smith C 5'10" - Dodgers - .286/.392/.486/.878, 13 HR's, 52 RBI's, 3.4 WAR
  11. There was Bruce Botchy hired by Texas. Nobody knows if we would have gotten him, but when you compare teams after the 2022 season, you had the Rangers at 68-94 and the Sox at 81-81. Plus what about all the coaches on great teams wanting to be a manager. I recall the interview list wasn't that extensive. How about the fact Hahn sucks at recognizing talent whether it's a manager or player. Hell, one the worst teams in baseball the Royals, took a big pass on Grifol. Let's face it, both Grifol and Hahn are both "Over their Heads!"
  12. You're right we don't know if a second medical opinion was attained. However we do know the history of this Sox front office handling injuries is atrocious and negligent. I will never give this inept FO any credit or benefit of the doubt, they did everything possible for Moncada in terms of the best medical treatments and options out there including if surgery was needed and a possible option.
  13. https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/news/white-sox-top-prospect-colson-montgomery-raking-after-injury I know this may not belong in this section, but with all the Sox negativity going on here recently, I thought you would enjoy this article on a recent Colson Montgomery interview with Scott Merkin. To hear his thoughts on how he prepares mentally is very exciting, knowing we will hopefully see him up here sometime in 2024 or no later than 2025. Hopefully the Sox don't screw this kid up in his development, because besides possessing all his physical talent...this kid has a real special demeanor and tough mental attitude.
  14. Going into tonight's game the Sox are 41-61 at .402 If they continue on that same pace they will go either 24-36 or 25-35 the rest of the way. Thus finishing either 65-97 .401 or 66-96 .407 This of course is based on the current roster. We are assuming several players will hopefully be gone at the trade deadline and obviously replaced with the AAA & AA players. Thus logically speaking, a 100 loss season is definitely in play for the worst GM in White Sox history.
  15. Here are some of my embarrassment predictions which is really going out on the limb: The Sox batters will strike out with 9 K's or more I will take the under on BB's at 3.
  16. Why not? He is much smarter than most of the other owners or GM's. Just ask him! ?
  17. Even if Hahn gets fired, the POS owner will likely promote the next one in line, which is likely the loser Chris Getz who is the Asst. GM and director of player development, who has assisted Hahn in the player evaluations and player developing in the minors. Like that scenario doesn't reek of a disaster and another GM trainwreck. I'm sorry but until Jerry passes away and the team is sold, this team will live in one constant hellfire nightmare.
  18. Sure, and we'll hear the same arrogant BS, "nobody here is more disappointed about this season than me"
  19. Hold that thought on who is more embarrassing! Tonight if the Rockies win and the Sox lose, the Rockies will have a better record than the Sox. Your beloved Sox will take over 3rd place. Race for worst three teams A's - 28-74 Royals - 29-73 Rockies - 40-60 White Sox - 41-60 Nationals - 41-59
  20. Although he will never admit it to the media and fans, I believe he probably does question his abilities. TBH though, I am think there is a lot of rationalization on his part for this debacle, where he blames the players for not performing better, because in Hahn's delusional mind, he feels he made the right trades, draft picks and free agent signings. More importantly, he is probably questioning and having nightmares thinking about, "How in the hell will I ever get another gig like this after I'm fired?"
  21. What a sweet powerful swing the Big Hurt had. That call by Hawk was actually a good one, because in 2003 Hawk was still a good announcer and he hadn't gotten stale and over the hill yet!
  22. As horesh*t as Ryan Pace and Gar Forman were, Rick Hahn is way worse than either of them.
