  1. But its accurate Rick Hahn BS! I'm quite sure it will be close to the bullshit that his next speech to the media will annoy us with!
  2. Best quote! "Have things gone the way we’ve expected? I’d lean towards no." Who are you crappin' Hahn?
  3. That face of the franchise Tim Anderson, Mr. "Change the Game", went 0-4 today. He is such a great lead-off hitter and great leader for this club. His stat line is now: BA OBP SLG OPS WAR .253 .303 .313 .617 0.0
  4. This just in! Note to Lopez....The 98-101 mph fastball that he has with zero movement and horrible location can be figured out and hit hard!
  5. Probably very similar to these bullshit comments from April 27. https://www.mlb.com/news/rick-hahn-shoulders-blame-for-white-sox-disappointing-start “I’m not a king,” Hahn said. “I don’t sit in this chair by divine birthright. It’s an absolute privilege to be general manager of the White Sox, one that I need to continue to earn. It’s pro sports. These things eventually come to an end. … “But the day I assumed this job or anyone assumes a general manager’s job, you know it’s going to end at some point. Never has it been my focus, and it’s not today. It’s more about, again, getting this team right for 2023. And what happens later in this season or after the season or five years from now will happen when it happens.” Keep making those BS excuses Hahn, because evidently your POS owner Jerry Reinsdorf is too senile or flat out doesn't give a s%*#.
  6. W-L - 13-25 - 3rd worst in ML Run Diff -67 - 28th Pitching Staff ERA - 5.71 - 29th ERA - Bullpen - 6.21 - 29th BB per 9 inn - 4.20 - 29th Hits per 9 inn - 9.48 - 27th HR's per 9 inn - 1.70 - 29th WHIP - 1.52 - 29th Observations: 1. I do not see this pathetic team ever getting to 500 this season. 2. Several players will be traded at the deadline. Of course this will be executed by the last man in the world you would want making those trades. 3. After the sell-off, the Sox will bring up all the great Triple-A talent stocked in Charlotte that was put there by Rick Hahn, according to Jeff Cohen of Sox Machine. That will for sure solidify the death sentence of the Sox losing over 100 games. 4. Assuming Hahn screws up at trade deadline and is fleeced by other smarter GM's, the current 26th ranked MLB farm system will remain near the bottom for several more years. 5. Finally, as long as Jerry Reinsdorf owns this team and continues to lack accountability and prudent ownership responsibilities by continuing to keep Kenny and Rick as our White Sox executive guiding force...we will never see a playoff team on the south side. RIP - To all Die-Hard Sox fans!
  7. I liked the 2000 team. How can you not like a team with the following: HR RBI BA OBP SLG OPS Frank Thomas 43 143 .328 .436 .625 1.061 Maggilo Ordonez 32 126 .315 .371 .546 .917 Carlos Lee 24 92 .301 .345 .484 .829 Herbert Perry 12 61 .308 .356 .483 .839 Jose Valentin 25 92 .273 .343 .491 .835 Ray Durham 17 75 .280 .361 .450 .810 Paul Konerko 21 97 .298 .363 .481 .844 They did go 95-67 and first place in the AL Central. I realize the pitching was bad that year and lost to Seattle in the Playoffs, but WAY WAY more fun than this team. We would die to have players like that on this team. However I do get your point about how bad and boring this team is. I do HATE this team more than any other Sox team I've cheered for as a die-hard Sox fan in entire Sox fandom lifetime.
  8. I know we have talked abut this sickening video tons of time with sarcasm, but now in 2023 seeing him make that comment with the most condescending and arrogant snicker, is now completely beyond a lack of accountability...and now has become officially one massive embarrassing disgrace, of either blatant or senile negligence...on the part of Jerry Reinsdorf.
  9. The sad reality is Lynn turns 36 tomorrow. He is completely washed up! Lance never had other secondary pitches to rely on other than the fastball. That FB has lost major velocity, movement and location. Lynn is now 1-5, 7.51 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. On the other hand, what is even worse is the fact, we traded a young and very talented pitcher away (Dane Dunning) for Lance Lynn. I know a lot of people here liked the trade, but I was not one of them. Dunning btw, won last night and is 3-0, 1.72 ERA , 0.86 WHIP and is only 28 years old.
  10. Hence why the White Sox lead MLB in Chase % at 33.1! We are the most undisciplined team in baseball. It's frustrating to watch. The pathetic reality is, Rick Hahn designed a massively flawed roster that has too many selfish and dumb players, that apparently won't watch enough video of their at AB's to try and make adjustments. This is also a big shame on the manager and hitting coach. Obviously the coaches aren't spending the time with these hitters, or the fact is these Sox players are just too lazy, stupid and have zero respect for the coaching staff.
  11. Let's hope one of these Charlotte boys finally works out! G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS Jake Marisnick CF 30 87 12 23 6 1 1 9 17 23 8 1 .264 .407 .391 .798
  12. Jeff Cohen of Sox Machine sure did nail it with his astute baseball observations that Rick Hahn has really developed a strong Triple-A club to supply the White Sox big league team with ample talent. https://soxmachine.com/2023/05/credit-white-sox-rick-hahn-for-building-roster-depth-in-triple-a-charlotte/ First paragraph: Rick Hahn isn’t getting much love these days, but early returns suggest he did at least one thing really well in 2023. Thanks to Hahn, the Triple-A Charlotte Knights is home to ample roster depth for his major-league squad. Third paragraph: Thus far, the Knights have supplied the White Sox with 11 players: Jake Burger, Lenyn Sosa, Jesse Scholtens, Adam Haseley, Tanner Banks, Billy Hamilton, Alex Colomé, Nick Padilla, Keynan Middleton, Sammy Peralta and most recently Carlos Perez. Scorecard: Of the 11 sent up: Jake Burger IL, Billy Hamilton - IL, Jesse Scholtens - back down, Tanner Banks - back down, Sammy Peralta - back down, Alex Colomé - DFA
  13. It sure would be nice to still have Reese McGuire at catcher. Oh that's right...another horrific trade by Hahn for Diekman. Reese was a superior catcher defensively to Seby or Yasmani. Reese was better at calling pitches, blocking balls in the dirt and receiving. He was and still is a better hitter than both of them. 2023 BA OBP SLG OPS Zavala .170 .220 .319 .539 Grandal .257 .341 .413 .754 McGuire .322 .355 .390 .745 Thanks Rick Hahn. Another of your trade deadline debacles!
  14. 2023 - This is who! BA OBP SLG OPS BA-RISP Andrew Vaughn .246 .340 .435 .774 .464 Jose Abreu .218 .265 .261 .525 .231 HR 2B RBI Andrew Vaughn 4 12 28 Projected 53 123 Jose Abreu 0 6 14 Projected 27 63
  15. I wouldn't be shocked one bit if they turn him around. It would be just another in a long slew of examples, of how inferior and dysfunctional the White sox organization is compared to the elite clubs.
  16. After reading this ridiculous and false article, it's fairly clear Jeff Cohen is absolutely clueless on what a good AAA team looks like. It's either that or he was paid handsomely under the table by Rick Hahn to make his 26th ranked farm system actually look good. Genius Hahn has added great roster depth to Charlotte with 34 yr. old Alex Colome, 32 yr. old Bill Hamilton, 27 yr. old Adam Haseley. I didn't realize you get a good grade for adding players who previously played in MLB for several years and couldn't make any of the 30 ML rosters at the start of the season. That a boy Rick...you get a good grade and high five for adding ML rejects to Charlotte. If you go check the current MLB top 100 prospects, it's interesting how the majority of them are between 19-23 years old. The Rays for example, who are always have one the best farm systems in baseball is ranked #6. They have five players in the top 100. Two are 19 yrs old and three are 22 yrs old. It's pretty much like that with all top ranked AA triple A teams.
  17. You are totally correct and bringing on total chaos instead can't be emphasized enough. Being competitive and hanging around .500 in the worst division in baseball could be a disaster. The worst scenario is the Sox get close to .500 and close to first place in the worst division in baseball near the trade deadline. Then genius Hahn avoids selling off the Sox assets, and perhaps even becomes a dumb buyer to give away more prospects from our weak farm system. The trades he makes end up being horrible, as most of them are. It's not like we haven't been used to losing. Since the 2005 World Series title, over the next 17 seasons, the Sox have seen only 5 seasons over .500, 3 years in the playoffs and one playoff win. This team will show you a few glimpses of greatness to tease you, but far more days of dumb losing baseball. If we're not going to make the playoffs, then I'm not up for being competitive. They might as well have a disaster finish and lose over 100 games, to hopefully have a small chance at the FO being fired.
  18. He is pitching worse this year than last year. He was 3.68 ERA in 2022, versus 5.25 ERA in 7 starts this year. If the Sox let Grienke embarrass them again tonight, then the Sox batters are seriously dumber than we thought.
  19. My bad. I was looking up the trades and I just forgot to list it. But thanks for reminding me because you're right, another dumb trade.
  20. If this team still lets Grienke have a great game tonight throwing his junk stuff, well outside the zone and our hitters keep swinging at bad pitches and he beats us tonight...then it really doesn't matter whether our players recalled or reminded of those comments. Once again it will illustrate just how dumb, undisciplined and selfish are Sox hitters are.
