  1. I hope they do blame the fans publicly and then hopefully the fans will take offense and treat such nonsense statements as a slap to their intelligence. If that ever did happened, I pray the fans take that personally and once and for all stop going to games so the loser Owner and FO can watch their team play in an near empty stadium.
  2. I agree it may not change the pitiful FO, but I do hope it embarrasses the FO and Jerry and that the fans continue to reduce the attendance.
  3. I always admired that about Rizzo for chocking up with 2 strikes! Sometimes he even hit a few home runs from it.
  4. I think you nailed it. The Sox took a lifetime first baseman and made him play a foreign outfield position that probably affected his hitting and for sure delayed his progress as a fielding first baseman. I still think he will be an all-star in this league.
  5. It probably will and that's pathetic it doesn't land on Hahn first and see his butt fired.
  6. For all you optimists looking to take a gamble, the Sox down 3-0 with Bet Rivers having them as a +750 on the win line.
  7. White Sox continue to give up home runs and now extend the Rays ML record of first 22 games to hit a home run in every game. Wtg boys!
  8. That might be so way back in his early time in the Boston organization, but at the time of the trade and when he was officially the #1 prospect, he was listed at 2nd.
  9. You're probably right. Assuming the Sox coaches are working with them, then it's even more frightening in how stubborn and stupid these guys really are.
  10. That's a great point. That was the good old fashion fundamental approach in baseball that these two have no clue on and not only choke up but a shorter swing.
  11. I think I made it very clear. I think Moncada is a bust and for sure extremely overpaid for his lack of production and constant injuries. As I said, I think it's from a lack of training and caring on his part. He was the #1 prospect in baseball and brought here in the first major Sox rebuild trade and was suppose to be a all-star second baseman. He got heavy and slower and because he wasn't good at 2nd, he was moved to third, instead of making him work harder at being good at 2nd. I am not in the "Pro Moncada" camp in this forum who always gets offended when Moncada is criticized for his failures and constantly feel they have to defend him with this hope and fantasy that he will be a star eventually.
  12. My passionate fandom my entire life has been #1 for the White Sox and #2 for the Bears. I did enjoy the Michael Jordan years immensely and will forever be grateful I got to watch one the great teams in NBA history and for damn sure the greatest athlete of all time. However for me to have any interest going forward for the Bulls would mean they would have to be a relevant top tier team again, which obviously they are not. I did jump on the bandwagon with the Hawks back in 2009-10, but after the GM traded away good players for no good reason and made bad draft choices, the Hawks are completely off my radar. Also watching how Rocky mishandled the Kyle Beach incident put the final nail in the coffin for me. I do love the Bears and like other fans I have been very frustrated for many years now. I still want that feeling I had in 1985 again. However maybe this time McCaskey got it right and actually finally hired a great GM. The fact we now actually have a real president over him and not the loser Ted Phillips gives me hope. It's just too bad Reinsdorf can't wake up and steal a page from McCaskey, that no matter how many times you fail at finding the right FO, don't stop making changes and eventually you just might get it right. Yet the one constant for all my life has been following my favorite team the White Sox no matter how bad they were. I've always known Jerry was a horrible owner. However as he got older it became quite obvious he got less involved, more apathetic and just didn't give a crap. His lack of not making changes on KW and RH has become extremely upsetting to me, as I know it is for the rest of the Sox fans. I will still be a loyal fan, but I will not spend any money going to games this year and future years until Hahn and Williams are gone. I will continue to be negative and constantly criticizing the owner. As I've stated before, the day this team is sold will be the second happiest day in my Sox fandom, only behind the 2005 WS championship.
  13. No, if it makes a loyal fan that upset then by all means they should revoke their fandom. However if most frustrated Sox fans instead would show Jerry in another direct message, by refusing to attend games anymore and send the POS owner a serious message the fans are fed up and had enough! The die-hard fans once and for all must send a statement to this apathetic and arrogant owner that his lack of caring and disrespect to his loyal fans, which is destroying the team they love and support, will no longer be tolerated. I realize this won't happen to the degree it needs to, but if it did, I truly believe change would happen.
  14. Good for you! That sounds like money well spent and not being wasted away frustrating yourself.
  15. You're right but at some point where is Katz on helping to fix this problem?
  16. The highest chase rate is now becoming a joke because they have too many wild free swinging hitters who are too stubborn or stupid to make adjustments. I also put blame Grifol who hired the hitting coach Jose Castro, who obviously isn't working enough with these undisciplined hitters over video to help them make adjustments. Having a bullpen with an 6.30 ERA when their genius GM decided to go spend the #1 highest salary for a bullpen, at this point is just comical. This really bad Sox team is 7-14 and will probably get worse. Right now the Sox are 23rd in attendance at 19, 567. As this team continues to lose games, frustrate their fans and continue being a boring team to watch, I suspect the attendance will go down even further.
  17. Will they? TA and Moncada should be high on the list of trade bait in a rebuild to get back quality prospects.
  18. There is no doubt Dylan will command huge value in a trade. Most great organizations with great scouts, coaches and front offices will see the huge potential and talent of Dylan and give us a lot in a trade. It's just pitiful the Sox won't be smart enough to be able to see that and nurture that awesome talent and desire, in what is arguably one of the most likeable and well grounded great guys in baseball.
  19. Times are tough for many Americans today and if MLB teams want to earn the hard earned money of their loyal fans, then damn it, they you better earn their dollars through quality baseball and not expect entitlement and assume your fans will just be loyal and keep wasting their money on mediocre baseball.
  20. I am concerned too how bad he has looked the last couple of games. Too bad we don't have a pitching coach that could look at his pitching mechanics on past video when he was dominant and maybe work with him to fix the couple of bad pitching bad habits he picked up. Dylan is the biggest class act and humble player on this team and he deserves better coaching and mentoring!
