  1. Ill play ya if we get a chance whitesoxin'. Be warned though im 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA with the royals
  2. At least if Jose has to go on the DL we can see what B Mac can do.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 10:03 PM) Dude......are you high? He lives in Texas so he cant watch the games and his computer is broken so he cant really catch up with the games except when he is on someone elses. Thats probably why he didnt know
  4. Ok, i started an online game at about 11 and wanted to do a "quick" one before i went to bed. i was the royals and he was the red sox. Online games are only 5 innings long if you didnt know but it took me 14. 0-0 until then when i got a single with berora and stole 2nd. Some guy hits a foul pop to his Jay payton playing first (i questioned it when he put him in there) and when he gets it he throws to third so i didnt tag. It goes way over his head hits the wall and goes into the OF where no one is and Berora comes home to score.
  5. ...... _____ ....../.........\ .__/............\ ...................\___ ^Zach Grienkes curveball. Its insane and 56mph After you throw it go to pitch analysis and look at it from a side view. He is the reason ive been using the royals online. No one can hit it everyone is done swinging by the time it reaches the plate. Then they wait to sit on it and you hit em with a 92mph fast ball. HE GAWN
  6. So i go to play online today and im set up against this Icon somethin guy and in the first inning i got his guy to 1-2 so i throw a pitch-out and he swings to strike out. He went to the chat typed in "UR GAY" then quit. So i go and look and this guy is ranked #2 online with a record of 550-43 or somethin like that. So I am one of the few loses he has!
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) It suprises me because we as Sox fans take pride in being very knowledgeable. By seeing what I saw on Tuesday night gave me the feel that we are attracting more "Cub fan types". People that are not going primarily to the game to watch the game, but rather to have a good time or party atmosphere. I don't want our park to be full of these "wrigley types". I like the fact that our fans love the game and like to watch the game. What I saw on Tuesday night is something I have not seen before at a Sox game. It was half priced night and maybe that has something to do with it. However, reading all the comments made on this board it seems as though this is the way Sox fans are. It is very disappointing to me. You dont have to watch every single second of a game to be a knowledgeable fan.
  8. If only people who wanted to watch every single pitch and every single second of the game went to the game there would be about 1000 people there, probably less. When i go Im lookin at having a good time more than watching every single pitch. Maybe im different though?
  9. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 10:46 AM) And maybe you should understand that some people have things going on in their lives that may require them to get up from their seats at a game. I don't think people are doing this with the intent on messing with your enjoyment. And if you know kids, you know that they will "hold it" until they are about to burst. If you don't know a kid, try and remember when you were that age. Even if an usher is up there with his little chainlink fence, what does it matter? "Your" game has already been turned into an "awful" experience because I walked in front of you while trying to stop the a situation that might turn somebody elses experience into an "awful" game. But, then maybe I should just leave my kids at home, since obviously the only people allowed to occupy a White Sox game are the people with scorecards in hand, being ultra-serious about the game (look at that word, lets remember what it is) being played before them. No matter how serious you want the game to be kids, it is still a form of entertainment, and one that is aimed at "families" and is aimed to make room for the casual fans. Maybe we need to make a "geek corner" for all the diehard people to sit and observe. Seriously, and people here make fun of the Star Wars geeks and their anal retentive ways??? to both your posts
  10. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) Guillen is a prick, pure and simple.
  11. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) You miss the half inning standing at the top of your section? Its pretty hard to see from up there and alot more people will be walking around you but whatever.
  12. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:53 PM) Because the people you f***ing walk infront of pay to watch the game too... They miss approxomitly 2 seconds of game while i miss a half inning. :rolly
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:51 PM) Or your could go get food between innings and come back before it starts or wait till the innings over. I don't give a damn, I'm just saying no one suggested run down the stairs and dive into your seat. But like people said you paid to watch a game, why should you have to wait for the end of the inning to go back to your seat and miss that half inning or whatever.
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:48 PM) Your not supposed to stand in the aisle. Your supposed to wait at the top. NO? Ok so then when their is a break you have to run all the way down the stairs to whatever row your in dive through the people and make it to your seat in time for the next batter to sit without spilling your food. Ill try that next time
  15. To be honest Im not really paying too much attention to the game when im comin back with food and stuff. Im more concentrated on finding my seat and not tripping and dropping my food than to make sure someone is batting. And if you are standing in the aisle waiting isnt that probably affecting someone's view anyways then if you go sit down and get out of the way completey?
  16. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:30 PM) A ticket is not a license to be a douchebag. I dont think walking to and from your seat is being a douchbag, I totally agree on the smoking part but It doesnt bother me at all when someone walks past me. The only time it does is when someone walks past me during the hat game and you lose what hat the ball is under.
  17. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 05:14 PM) It is not that I have to get out of my seat. We were sitting in a row with no one else in it. It is the fact that our fan base, which looks like you are included in it, don't mind getting up and blocking others from watching the game. If it is part of the experience then it shouldn't be. If you come back to go to your seat while play is going on then you should wait until play is stopped. That is the way to do it. You are expected to wait. I don't know when this became so common. 99.9% of the time if you go get food or go to the bathroom it takes longer than the break in between innings and im sure as hell not waiting for the next break to go sit down.
  18. Someone was smoking near me monday night too and I dont like that but the seat thing is goin a little far. Sure its a pain when you have to get up for people when someone has to go to the bathroom or is going to get food but that is just part of the experiance of being there IMO. You cant force people to stay in their seats and if you had to go to the bathroom at the end of an inning you come back after it started they cant expect you to wait.
  19. I voted for everyone on the sox with Everett as a write in instead of Frank at DH and everyone on the pirates for the NL.
  20. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) I heard that some lady got groped by Tigger. My cousin does charecters including tiger at disney
