Why wouldn't they sign Josh Sitton at this point? They should have some cap room and they must know they need more depth at offensive line.

If they do sell, then would that mean leaving Chicago and Illinois? Is it likelier to happen than staying put?

It's nice to see some young energy in the infield though, and I hope he can contribute like some of the Northsiders prospects have (Schwarber, Bryant).

I've noticed that Lawrie is always in an 0-2 count...pitchers must know to get ahead of him and he'll be an automatic out.

Braun, CarGo, Lucroy, Bruce mean nothing if the team doesn't win and they don't fire the staff, KW and the minor league staff. They need to build a team from within somehow and it doesn't start with gutting prospects for stars. The last 8 years show that is not a recipe for success...Jerry should have recognized that sooner so he may have won a WS before he passes.
