  1. I don't like how Neshek left his arm up to check on the strikeout. Let's get three outs and send these f***ers to their hotel room!
  2. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:35 PM) crazy I literally thought that at the same moment I read your post. Sparks and Stevenson have some work to do...in a DJ voice.
  3. Too many balls swung at out of the zone in addition to high pitches swung at.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:29 PM) Reminder that Jerry Sands is a wastep of a roster spot. How about that newly acquired B guy they acquired over Sands?
  5. He looks like he's going to underhand the ball...
  6. I thought that was gone...three more outs before I really need to go to bed. A sick Frazier walk off?
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:21 PM) This game ends with a Matt Purke beer shower. Foggy glasses and all. Full of win!
  8. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:19 PM) I know it worked, but why wasn't Frazier in for one of the utility guys? Is he hurt? Sick.
  9. Redemption, Jose, come on! Make up for the bases loaded whiff!
  10. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 17, 2016 -> 10:13 PM) Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 1m1 minute ago Todd Frazier is in the White Sox dugout in uniform. Plug him in and go all MJ on this city. "Remember that flu game?!?"
  11. Get the run in...for the love of God and all that is holy!
  12. Way to make up for the dropped ball earlier, Jackson. Now if only Saladino could jack one to make up for his error.
  13. I'll continue watching because the inly teams I love in the world are the Sox and Bears, but this corpse ball looks all too familiar. They are looking like the champions of April now and nothing right now.
  14. Last night's loss should not have happened, not when you're up by that much in the later innings. Blame Ventura if you must, but I can't believe the bullpen gave up so many home runs. Hopefully KW and RH take notice and go get another reliever, bat and fifth starter...unless they feel the Sox can win and get into the playoffs as is.
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 7, 2016 -> 10:30 PM) If the Sox decide to ever move, or have to move because of people leaving the city in droves, I hope they consider the Western suburbs of Chicago. It's a very different vibe out there and the Sox would sell out every game I betcha in Naperville or Schaumburg or Lisle, somewhere like that. Build some kind of palace, 8th wonder of the world in the suburbs and get some rich Chicago company to build it and embrace it. Only place I'd support the Sox besides Chicago and the Western Suburbs is Vegas. Otherwise they'd be dead to me. However, they'd probably build an indoor stadium in Vegas cause of the temps and I hate indoor baseball. The Sox would take suburbia by storm, however. Do you agree? People are leaving the city and Illinois in high amounts, but I can't see them ever moving outside of the city unless they were moving out of Illinois. What I think the low attendance boils down to is that the Sox have a smaller fan base than the Cubs due to all of the factors that have been discussed over the years. It's a better environment for families, so at least they can compete with that aspect even if there's no night life scene outside of the park. I was trying to figure out with my dad at the game tonight why they didn't move to the suburbs in the early 90s and we just agreed that there wasn't enough financial backing and quite possibly the fan support for that. Having said that, I think attendance would grow if they were in Oakbrook of all of the suburbs. I could support the Chicago White Sox of Oakbrook, but I don't think I'd enjoy if they were in the loop (not that there's much room for anything there). It was great to see 28,000 there tonight and I could see crowds like that coming if they continue their winning ways into the summer.
  16. QUOTE (SonofaRoache @ May 5, 2016 -> 10:49 PM) Yeah the one year out of 10 we get off to a hot start no f***s are given because the Cubs are playing on super easy with the sliders turned up. Hot start that has quickly cooled off. Some shades of 2015 at times. Cubs are beating the Pirates and Nats and haven't showed any signs of weakness. They always win now, why would they lose? They never lose. I don't give a quack, I just want my team to continue the way they were playing and not just be the champions of April.
  17. Not happy with the hitters swinging at s*** either. Hector Sanchez sucks too. I live in a house divided and have to watch the team that's going to win the World Series. They are loads behind that team in terms of where they are at. Why doesn't the league just give them the trophy already? The city would have a massive knob for weeks. In all seriousness though, tonight's effort sucked.
  18. I'm not sure how they expect to win giving up 7 walks and leaving 10 men on base. Go get some rest and beat the piranhas this weekend.
  19. Can I go ahead and change my name to SpankyEaton?
  20. Right there, delayed strike call and they beat these asshole birds and their old grim faced f*** buck manager Showalter! The road trip looks better, go win tomorrow!
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 09:42 PM) We were due for a call from that ump I think they are due an explanation about the second base call. I see nothing in the rules that support the call tonight other than he didn't throw it. I also really hate replay in baseball, this game has gone on for too long. Seems like managers can politic their way for more than one challenge even if they used it already.
  22. Wieters standing up cost him a strike to end the inning against Sanchez, the wet weather and bunt gave the Sox a chance and the wet grass messed with the rule five pick in right. Suck it Orioles and your f***ing challenge happy manager!
