  1. Challenge that you motherf***ing Orioles and old f***ing man Showalter! Safe!
  2. I know they are on the road but why the f*** do Cubs fans attend White Sox games? Sure it's just a kid among Sox fans but I see that s*** at home all the time. I hate the Orioles. And I hate how the 7th inning was handled. I don't see why they couldn't have left Albers I and have him clean up his mess.
  3. Yeah, what's the rule? And the new second base rule for my reference?
  4. Are the Bears concerned about Cutler's backups in Blanchard and Fales? Do they want to find his successor in the next few drafts but in the higher rounds?
  5. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) An appealed check swing by Eaton which was ruled no swing Was it a swing on the replay? If not, screw him.
  6. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 08:51 PM) In Gibbons defense, the strike zone was a joke True, but it was called both ways. What did he blow up over, a called third strike?
  7. What was the scenario with Gibbons getting tossed? This is a young ump who got into a shouting match earlier innings. He called it both ways, even if it wasn't precise. Suck it Gibbons, I woulda tossed your ass if I was umpiring tonight too.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 03:51 PM) Benetti asks too many questions at times It's still better than Hawk telling stories about eating lunch with his Red Sox teammates.
  9. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 03:50 PM) Has Lawrie hit a homer at the Cell yet? Yes he hit one on Thursday.
  10. The Toddfather took care of business. I think the only player we should be b****ing about is Garcia. But I doubt he gets sent down.
  11. So what acquisitions and incumbents in particular is everyone b****ing about? Avila, Jackson and Garcia?
  12. I'm not worried about the attendance. If we had one team in this city, they would climb in the rankings. But even though that's not the case, the payroll isn't high enough to have players traded midseason if they are in it. It's only April, of course it's going to be lousy. When the weather heats up I am sure they'll climb in attendance. I wish more people were there last night but it is what it is. It's too bad people don't look around for coupon codes to use because it can make all of the difference to get people to the game. I sat in right field with a group of 14 for $17 each. It was a great birthday game and awesome to see a triple play.
  13. I have already accepted that the Cubs will win the World Series. It's just when and am I still in Lakeview...luckily I'll be out of here at the end of July. Can't wait to go to watch the Sox tomorrow. It's nice seeing them competitive in most games they have played this year. I hope they win tomorrow so I can enjoy my birthday game. And...Buehrle's perfect game was more impressive than this.
  14. SI seems to think it was Pilates and his diet that made him a better pitcher. I don't think Loaiza was this good when he was signed and turned it around. I understand they were chasing history but I think it's stupid to have your pitcher throw 120 pitches when he is ahead by 16.
  15. More than anything, I'd like to see Frazier get going with the bat. He had 35 home runs last year and could be relied upon. I am expecting big things from him this year. And I expect our catchers not to look uncomfortable behind the plate and looking silly in their own at bats.
  16. QUOTE (MDWhiteSoxFan @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 06:38 PM) We aren't gonna win em all guys haha. Couple terrible strike ball calls, couple great plays by tampa in the field. On to tomorrow by the looks of it Would be nice to win as consistently as the Cubs do over the course of the season to keep things interesting on both sides of town though. More importantly, it would be nice to make the playoffs for the first time in eight years.
  17. QUOTE (MDWhiteSoxFan @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 06:23 PM) It's my birthday game today Sorry that is the case. The ump missed two pitches but I wouldn't say that they were what lead to the runs. Danks is just not good and hasn't been how he was since his major surgery. It's too bad that we have to watch him every fifth day and it's also too bad the offense doesn't hit for Quintana, but it is what it is. I would really like to see Frazier go on a tear though. Hopefully he wasn't just feasting on weak NL pitching all of those years in Cincinnati.
  18. I just hope Danks isn't pitching on Friday against Texas. That's my birthday game. And I don't know who those of you saying to get a bat are actually seeking...it's too early.
  19. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 03:03 PM) At least they'd have a direction. Feels like they're stuck in the mud now. What direction would you want? A lengthy rebuild like the Northsiders? It's been 8 years since any kind of playoffs.
