QUOTE(letsgoarow @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:35 PM) hey beastly why are u never satisfied.....we could go undefeated and you would be like well the hitters should of hit more...blah blah blah Until I see Pods and Iguchi live up to expectations... and the hitters start hitting consistently.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) Ok, so because Marte didn't get Hafner out today, that means Marte will never get anyone else's best hitters out the rest of the year? :banghead You know damn well that wasn't what I said. Nevermind, I'm not going to argue, because all I wanted to say was that he needs to get people out in situations...but I'm not arguing with you.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) We scored 4 runs today thats a solid day at the plate. End of story. I don't give a s*** when they come. I care when they come. Last minute is never good. Think about when we're struggling and quiet with the bats, will we get the results we got today in the 9th? Huh? What?

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) Hardy, har, har..."laugh it up fuzz ball..."

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) Because Marte gave up one hit to the Indians' best hitter, you're not satisfied with him? Be glad he didn't give up another hit to Martinez, he did a nice job of getting him out (or didn't they IBB Martinez -- either way, Marte got the job done). It was an IBB. But if he can't get the best hitter out for the Indians, how the hell are we going to beat the Yankees and their best hitter(S).

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) At last check the 9th inning is during the game. Thanks for educating me, smart ass...but we need to go through all 9 innings productively, not just 1...
-
I'm happy we won and all but... If we can't hit during the game, how are we going to win...it doesn't take 1 inning to win, it takes 9 innings. I'm satisfied with the 9th, but I'm not satisfied with Marte. He looked off today. And I'm not satisfied with what I saw in the other 8 innings...pitching was great, but if you don't give some insurance runs to your pitchers, you will lose ball games. Overall great effort and win today.

Is Konerko hurt? He looked like he limped off the field after he got called out at 2nd. Gload replaced him...

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) I honestly have to say, I hate Ozzie ball. It's a boring brand of baseball. The game goes so quick. I feel jipped. I should've gotten half off for the seats I paid. I felt the same way dude. Its going to be boring...home runs will be few and far between as well as rare. "White Sox baseball...deal with it."

I'm being honest here, I don't view oral sex as sex. And I'd assume the same as Tex.

Yeah, that was pretty crappy. I was like, did he leave us too? Dave Wills left for a job...and the guy who does the post game show really doesn't have it.

I was looking for you CWSGuy406 in the lot with your bean bags, lol. Anyway, I was a little upset that I saw people ragging on a Cub fan...we can be the better men and not say anything first. Let them look like morons. We are good people. Crowd was into it when necessary. People got loaded in the parking lot after the game, it was kind of funny. I think we got some shots of the festivities before the game, which will be uploaded later. Yes, I noticed people calling people Iguchi The Gooch too...and I thought it was cute how Nancy played "Bingo" when Shingo was pitching. I hope they go back to their bad ass game opener with AC/DC...I liked that a lot better. Its a good start to the games for metal heads like me. Edit: Zambrano is said to have been kicked out of the Arizona game...just some speculation, which would be pretty funny. As for Ozzie's decison of taking Buehrle out...he wasn't getting first pitch strikes late in the game, and I think he was losing his arm at the end too. It was a good decison to bring Shingo in when he did, IMO.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) He's in St. Louis. And relax, it's only one game...and we f***ing won. Only one stat matters: Win. Just as I would say if we lost, its one game. Lets see what we do with Garcia Wednesday.

I'm driving home from the game right now, and I'm really not all that impressed with us right now. 1-0 is too close of a score, and there was not enough offense today. We were fortunate to get the Indians' gaffes on defense. I wasn't feeling Pods and Iguchi today. Pods drew a nice walk, and kept getting throws over near 1st base. The good idea would be to drop Iguchi down later in the order with Rowand batting in the two hole so then Iguchi could get used to major league pitching. Defense was extremely timely today. Crede starting two double plays were keys today as Buehrle mowed down the Indians. Buehrle wasn't pitching first pitch strikes always, but came back and did what he needed too do. I was a little nervous with Shingo coming in, but he brought his game today, and that play was spectacular by Ross Gload. I'm a little upset that Gene Honda didn't talk much today, because that new guy annoys me. We have to get our offense going and Freddy has to have a good outing on Wednesday. Way to go Mark, and go White Sox.

I thought that I saw the Scout seats as the only green seats in the park. Can't say that to be sure though. Renovation phase looked nice with the seats and the fundamentals section was kind of cool.

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) Respect you? I'll respect you even MORE !! Can't say I love her, but I do respect her, and her virtue, you bastards But I think Terry owes you respect after he shortly found out Gload is 28 and that he needed to buy some Bertucci's.

QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 12:02 PM) LOL, threw the inside pitch and he turned on it, but Tori Hunter stepped in and threw him out quicker than you can say of course I love you. And with your bet today Jim Hoffman struck you out faster than I can say "Ross Gload is 28 years old and you owe me dinner for it."

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) "And there's a line drive to left center, he's going to try and stretch this into a double ... here comes the throw ... OUT! at 2nd base." Or I would say safe, the umpire changed his call after seeing the ball roll out of the 2nd basemans glove...
