I have this headset that my bros got for Christmas for PS2...I get back after my buddy was using it, and we take pretty good care of it. However, it seemed to be loose and when I picked it up, the speaker for the ear piece fell off, and the wire was torn. Should I bother spending another 30.00 on another one? I just think that was lame that it happened... Anyone else have problems with crappy PS2 products? I know I haven't gotten far in San Andreas because it seems to freeze on me in Los Santos...anyone else have any problems?

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Feb 4, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) INFORMATION FOR DADS... It's not the dress...it's the guy...take this sly lil stallion for example.... http://www.cameroncole.net/humor/prom.jpg That link will be shown to many people on my buddy list just because it is utterly hysterical! lmao

You still should wear it. That guy did so much for the White Sox when he was here, and I'll never forget him. I'll remember the void in right field...and seeing spectacular defensive plays. He's still my hero.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) No. f*** you! You were breaking the law and they were doing their job. Agreed, f*** him...he broke the law, he needs to learn a lesson...and was lucky to not get arrested.

Meche, would love him, that won't happen. Wait, wait, you mean Felix Heredia? Gil Heredia, beat out by Loaiza..those were the days... -

QUOTE(quickman @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 06:45 PM) Relax, sometimes its just in the delivery. Write like a writer not like a teenager. i am not picking on you. You aren't, however, the others most certainly are, I write like a teenager on these boards, and write like a writer on other boards. -

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 06:37 PM) Beastly does have some point in the fact that we are NOWHERE near a bottom 10 offseason, thats absurd. For what Kenny Williams did, I'd rank us higher than the Mets. -

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) OK -- Just let the record show that you've called one of the smartest, most respected, baseball minds there is a "stupid journalist who has no intelligence whatsoever" -- That doesn't exactly reflect well on your opinion, which you have to admit is clouded by a pair of think silver and black glasses. Well I don't agree with him. My point being that article is absurd, and that we tend to listen to what these writers say TOO much. -

We don't need to listen to some stupid journalist who has no intelligence whatsoever. Seriously, I mean, we don't base our opinions off writers for ESPN or for any media, we should base it off what we want to think. Its all about our mindset on things. -
I just want him to live up to his 4 million dollars. Its not his weight I'm concerned about, its just that if he ever plays outfield, wouldn't you want a speedy effort in the field. And when Thomas comes back, he needs to maintain his shape. I really think DH's should go ride a bike in the clubhouse during games to maintain shape, or take infield before the game.

QUOTE(whitesox247 @ Jul 24, 2004 -> 05:36 PM) yeah beastly, Adema is awesome. God, I was so depressed in july of 2004. Football sucked and I craved to be hit at practice to feel numb. Anywho, music... my favorite local band is tearing up the scene here in Downers Grove. Forever in a day. Its the s***...tho its emo, they've got sum good stuff. Godsmack is my favorite, followed by Green Day.

I think Harris is still a valuable asset to the team. He could fill a 2b/cf role, as well as a pinch runner. He's a decent backup...why not keep him on the team if you need a spark. Say Uribe or Iguchi gets hurt, then who comes off the bench to play? See? And think about it, do you really want Paulie on 3rd with 1 out and our best hitter at the plate? No. Harris on 3rd with 1 out is a threat.

If Sammy Goes to Balmor...

QUOTE(striker62704 @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 11:04 AM) I bet the Cubs get Ordonez now. The Tigers will get Ordonez. 5 years, 12 mil a year...they basically offered 5 million more and less deferred money than KW's offer. Hope he gets it, but I'm really happy with that we have right here in Chicago. -

QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 11:02 AM) ...then it's welcome back Sammy weekend May 12 to 15th at US Cellular. Let's give him a warm White Sox welcome! We'll see if he even waves his no-trade clause. I'm not sure if he's going to leave, or if the commisioners office will have something to say about the whole trade. Hairston for Sosa is insane, IMO. -
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 04:20 PM) Like I always say, never did I ever think this site would turn into something this big. My guess is, a couple years from now I'll be saying the same thing. Its truly an awesome community thanks to great posters thats the kind of reaction I wanted to here...i never wanted to cause controversy.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 01:28 PM) 1919 was the year of the Black Sox. oh, thats right. boy, what was I thinking? What do we say about that to Cub fans when they are arguing that against us? The goat?

Yeah, uh I'm one of the passionate fans....think about it, sitting in the Upper deck, freezing your ass off on opening day...and they are usually in s***ty seats (the upper deck.) A couple years ago it was nice, but with the cold we've been having it might be pretty cold. Damn the season ticket holders and their mighty fine tickets...
