  1. Is Konerko hurt? He looked like he limped off the field after he got called out at 2nd. Gload replaced him...
  2. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) I honestly have to say, I hate Ozzie ball. It's a boring brand of baseball. The game goes so quick. I feel jipped. I should've gotten half off for the seats I paid. I felt the same way dude. Its going to be boring...home runs will be few and far between as well as rare. "White Sox baseball...deal with it."
  3. I'm being honest here, I don't view oral sex as sex. And I'd assume the same as Tex.
  4. QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 05:22 PM) Your driving and typing? remind me to stay away from u on the dan ryan. WHITESOX BAYBA-BABY Dad is driving, I was in the car...yeah...
  5. Yeah, that was pretty crappy. I was like, did he leave us too? Dave Wills left for a job...and the guy who does the post game show really doesn't have it.

  7. I was looking for you CWSGuy406 in the lot with your bean bags, lol. Anyway, I was a little upset that I saw people ragging on a Cub fan...we can be the better men and not say anything first. Let them look like morons. We are good people. Crowd was into it when necessary. People got loaded in the parking lot after the game, it was kind of funny. I think we got some shots of the festivities before the game, which will be uploaded later. Yes, I noticed people calling people Iguchi The Gooch too...and I thought it was cute how Nancy played "Bingo" when Shingo was pitching. I hope they go back to their bad ass game opener with AC/DC...I liked that a lot better. Its a good start to the games for metal heads like me. Edit: Zambrano is said to have been kicked out of the Arizona game...just some speculation, which would be pretty funny. As for Ozzie's decison of taking Buehrle out...he wasn't getting first pitch strikes late in the game, and I think he was losing his arm at the end too. It was a good decison to bring Shingo in when he did, IMO.
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) He's in St. Louis. And relax, it's only one game...and we f***ing won. Only one stat matters: Win. Just as I would say if we lost, its one game. Lets see what we do with Garcia Wednesday.
  9. I'm driving home from the game right now, and I'm really not all that impressed with us right now. 1-0 is too close of a score, and there was not enough offense today. We were fortunate to get the Indians' gaffes on defense. I wasn't feeling Pods and Iguchi today. Pods drew a nice walk, and kept getting throws over near 1st base. The good idea would be to drop Iguchi down later in the order with Rowand batting in the two hole so then Iguchi could get used to major league pitching. Defense was extremely timely today. Crede starting two double plays were keys today as Buehrle mowed down the Indians. Buehrle wasn't pitching first pitch strikes always, but came back and did what he needed too do. I was a little nervous with Shingo coming in, but he brought his game today, and that play was spectacular by Ross Gload. I'm a little upset that Gene Honda didn't talk much today, because that new guy annoys me. We have to get our offense going and Freddy has to have a good outing on Wednesday. Way to go Mark, and go White Sox.
  10. I thought that I saw the Scout seats as the only green seats in the park. Can't say that to be sure though. Renovation phase looked nice with the seats and the fundamentals section was kind of cool.
  11. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) Respect you? I'll respect you even MORE !! Can't say I love her, but I do respect her, and her virtue, you bastards But I think Terry owes you respect after he shortly found out Gload is 28 and that he needed to buy some Bertucci's.
  12. QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 12:02 PM) LOL, threw the inside pitch and he turned on it, but Tori Hunter stepped in and threw him out quicker than you can say of course I love you. And with your bet today Jim Hoffman struck you out faster than I can say "Ross Gload is 28 years old and you owe me dinner for it."
  13. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) "And there's a line drive to left center, he's going to try and stretch this into a double ... here comes the throw ... OUT! at 2nd base." Or I would say safe, the umpire changed his call after seeing the ball roll out of the 2nd basemans glove...
  14. QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) Beastly is too busy with his new girlfirend to keep up on stuff that has been mentioned about 100 times. Maybe I was...but do old men need to be on a message board for an extended period of time? Don't you have wives to tend to, gentleman?
  15. QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:50 AM) Is spring break almost over, time to go back to school Spring Break 05 was amazing. After the game today, I'm done with break and Im going back to work.
  16. I'm beginning to enjoy the new Green Day Album now...I skip track 1 because its the most over played song...but 3 and 4's transition from Holiday to Boulevard of Broken Dreams is pretty cool...I like wake me up when september ends too...its pretty sweet. I also am enjoying International Superhits too...
  17. Going to be there with dad and the twins...hopefully I'll get to meet up with you guys. My seats suck, but I hope that won't ruin my last day of break. I've seen u guys with the bean bags...kinda funny cuz a few guys are a little tipsy...and as always, I'll probably see Steff or southsider at their place.
  18. I'm sitting here laughing my ass off, because it is so stupid...
  19. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 06:07 PM) That sucks for him. Why do teams that know they wont' have a roster spot for him continue to pick him up????? To get a scouting report on him?
  20. wasn't taking it personally...I was kidding with quickman Its okay, i just hope Burke doesn't get claimed, he's pretty good for a backup
  21. QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 11:43 PM) I am not Widger is a better defensive catcher and seems to handle the pitchers just fine. Good move Alright then, quickman has spoken, i'm just a youngin who doesn't know anything, right?
  22. I still don't see why they didn't keep Burke...he's a lot better than Widger. Davis is a piece of s***, let him go...wish we coulda gotten Kim tho instead of the Rockies.
  23. Totally no risk move, and its a good idea on KW's part. I'm disappointed in not keeping Burke and keeping Widger...
  24. Let me start out by saying that Cliff Politte is garbage, and I found it absolute bulls*** that the White Sox couldn't find anyone better in free agency than that piece of s***. Secondly, trade Davis, I mean yeah, he was decent when he was with us, but he's nothing overly spectacular for a back-up. I like Burke better than Davis. The reason we've been carrying 3 catchers is because of injuries and liability of cash flow on the roster. It is silly to keep Davis and send Burke down, potentially losing him. Widger sucks, let him go. If we can pry Kim from the Red Sox, I say we take him. Seriously, I don't care about Bmac right now, we can save him for later. Or is there a rule that he has to be on the 40 at the start of the year or he can't be called up? I'd think we'd be able to get rid of Politte and Davis...it might work, if we got that 40 spot for BMac and that pitcher in Kim.
  25. I'm scared. Contreras will give me an ulcer before the end of the year with the way he pitches. I don't give a flying f*** if he's in the desert, thats still no excuse for all these runs. I'm also a little nervous about Hernandez, but he pitches every 5th day, so I'm fine with that. Buehrle's injury has slowed his progress, so he really won't have time to tune up b4 the season. Thomas...man, I like what I see from Everett. And Burke...he'll be in AAA, though I'd release that piece of s*** Davis in a millisecond. I would also have to say that I'm not impressed with Politte. I think its garbage that Kenny thinks he can get it done with his 95 mph pitches. Its not always about speed, but with the types of pitches, and pin point accuracy.
