I think my anniversary was September 2003. I'm very happy Old Roman showed me this board. Jason and the admins, mods, rock on But I don't think we have come full circle yet. There are for sure going to be more passionate White Sox fans coming on as soon as we finish the season and enter the playoffs. Guys, as of late, what do you think of my posting style, I know its a litte irrelevant to the thread, but I want to ask real quickly.

Forgive me if I said Crede sucks, lets bench/trade this guy. I mean, yeah, you can sit there and say, oh, you are just saying that because he got that homerun. No. Yes, .240 isn't what we as White Sox fans want out of a power hitter. But keep in mind that he is a power hitter who will strike out a lot, and you know, pulling through when we need him is okay too. Crede's 2 run double proves to me why we need not trade him. The guy is a beast. He can hit that kind of pitch with that kind of velocity and angle is truely amazing. Tonights game also showed me why we might not want Urbina, who gives up way to many base hits, yet gets K's. I don't think he's that decent at his current price tag. You can disagree with me if you want to because of his past, but the high 4.38 ERA, 27 BB's, and 30 hits given up proves everything wrong. Oh, and Minney can attest to this, don't give up after the first inning! 2-0, so what? 7-6 White Sox winner. Not bad.

Its just we would give up a lot to Pittsburgh for him, and since I think he's not signed long term, that makes things complicated for us as well. It adds to the price tag.

My mom wants me to get a shirt like that. I want one too. I also think sporting the Soxtalk shirt would be pimped, too.

The White Sox do not need offense. They have Everett. Everett will produce runs as well as Timo in right field. No outfielders, please, unless you will take Borchard (.192, 3 hrs, 12 career RBI with Sox) and Ross Gload (he just plain sucks in right field.) I forsee a gap in the bullpen. Marte, Politte, Takatsu, will help us a million in the playoffs. Adkins, Cotts, Jackson, will not cut it. (Cotts and Adkins are decent, but are not overpowering, and Jackson is just old.) So why wouldn't you want a relief pitcher? The White Sox cannot afford to invest any more money in a guy like Kris Benson, who, carries a price tag on him as well as the chance for nagging injuries. Randy Johnson, the future hall of famer, sure, why not? I'm sure the White Sox would MUCH rather have him than Steve Finley.

I don't think it is fair to compare him to last years totals. That was an excellent season, and we knew going into this thing that Loaiza would never be as good as last year. However, in spite of that, I don't see us re-signing him.

I got Alomar Jr.'s autograph, and then I also got a batted ball from batting practice, and since it didn't mean anything to me, I gave it to a kid nearby, who was in tears when Ozzie didn't come over to sign. That mean't a lot to see him smile back at me and his little eyes light up in delight. The game started, and the ever powerful songs before the White Sox played were blasting into my ears. Passed by quickman's seats, wish I could have sat there because my mom was complaining about people obstructing our view. She also complained about the umpire. I said mom, "You are a fan. You can talk when you go through all the training they go through as an umpire." I am an umpire. Annoying Tiger fans filled the out field seats. After remembering Cheat's story, I said to my mom, "Mom, if they cause any trouble you tell me, I'll get security on them as fast as a squirrel gets hurled 20 feet by a truck." Counted the beers, added up to about 300.00 spent on beers for their part. Shortly after the inning began, the most ignorant one said, I didn't hear any fireworks...who got the homeruns? Uribe hits a homerun and I showed that nimrod up. That homerun that was hit to center by a Tiger player, I believe Young hit it, was nearly thrown back. Well, true, but with Everett, like you said without Frank, it could work. Timo would pick up the pace and I have a feeling with a move of Crede to the bench, the White Sox would improve at least 3 games.

Heres what I have to say. Magglio will hurt us, no doubt about it. But seriously, I'm not worried. We already proved we can win without him. Right now we are on Everett's wings, he is in the cockpit as we speak. Crede needs to start hitting. I don't like seeing Joeblow and Crede in the lineup at the same time. Where is all the "power" numbers we allegedly are supposed to know about? IF Herm said that, Ordonez will be out for 15 days plus rehab. I'm trusting in what he said, but like I hear, he said he HOPES it wasn't worse than it was. However, Herm did say the range of motion is good, and that the fluid is cleared up, so we could see Magglio before the end of the year. As for getting someone- I don't think this would be a very good idea to get Finley. We have Timo, we have Everett. If anything we need to keep playing our best at Ozzie ball and stop worrying about the big things, and start worrying about the little things of bunts, walks and base hits. Adding an arm in the pen is a must, so lets settle down, see how these next 2 weeks go and make a deal for somebody before the deadline.
