  1. Looks to quickman to hook us up with tickets, Well can you guys pass off as 13? Then I could meet you guys at kids day and then we all could get autographs...(I might need to shave and break a leg ) but yeah, let me see when I might be going...that'd be fun. And if we are going, lets make sure quickman is going that day...you guys got to meet this guy, he's a class act, as well as JimH.
  2. Phillies guys are a class act. I'm writing a letter to the Phillies asking for Jimmy Rollins to be recognized for his actions.
  3. So I go to the park at about 4:40...we get to the train station and we find we forgot the tickets...tough luck, and so we go back home to get them...go to lisle, and we get to Union Station around 5:40. I meet my father up there, and we shortly leave. Its 94 where I live and 91 in Chi-town. We get to the cell, park it and I go to get autographs while my brothers (on the Longshots traveling team) go on the field to walk around. Kinda cheesy how they do that stuff...so I'm sitting there and I spy with my little eye who I thought to be Minny Minoso... I'm like hey, Min, over here bud! He's like I'm Jessie White. So then I get his autograph on my already crappy Josh Paul autographed ball...get Jon Garland to sign my card, and then I see Ozzie...before this all happened though, Jimmy Rollins personally took one autograph for this little kid who was politely waiting for him. It was real cute, and made me feel good inside. and so I go back to my seats, and as I go back, my boss is throwing out the first pitch, Tony Nitti (president of DGYB Youth Baseball, South League) and found that was real cool. I sat down, watched the game, had the following to eat ( to JimH and quickman) -2 mt. dews -1 grape gatorade -left over nachos which I took from someone who offered -peanuts (full bag) -2 koscher hot dogs Filled out my ballots, about 40 or so of them, so I've filled about 70 out...I voted for 1 CUB...Ramirez, just because I hate all other NL 3b...and I wrote in about 70 votes for Uribe... other UT's... Here I am now, and it was a great night.
  4. They at least told the sad truth about us that they sell out more...oh well... "Oh, and the mayor likes us better..."
  5. Then that proves Gammons wrong from what I thought I saw in the article.

    Fired!!!!!!!!!

Bastard. Screw him. Screw all employers. Dairy Queen never answered me back about my hours. Not the same situation, but you know what I'm getting at.
  7. I can't stand rap, so, surely, its good for me. Except no metal
  8. Yeah, I don't have an I-Pod and usually my mom or dad need something so I need to be able to hear them.
  9. What do you guys think is your favorite song on the game? Steriogam-Walkie Talkie Man is entertaining, I think...
  10. Now that is a business move that actually makes sense. To be honest, Kenny is in a great spot right now in making trades. He has so many recources (abundance of players) to work with, not cash. He'll push for a pitcher near the deadline. -List of players likely to be gone Wunsch-575,000+a possible 100,000. He is expendable and flexible. He has about 1-2 options remaining on his deal and years left. Could be excellent trade bait. Rauch-300,000. League minimum. Kenny Williams says he may never pitch in the White Sox Organization again. We shall see the outcome. Could be traded with Reed/Borchard for Kris Benson and Jason Bay. Time will tell what will become of him. Borchard-300,000. League minimum. Salary bonus paid off. I wouldn't be too suprised to have a big price up for him. Koch-6.5 million-Piece of s***. Needs to do something with control. Will be awfully hard to trade. Lee, Konerko, could be brought up in trades too.
  11. Finally were getting respect. Still, not getting a win from a 5th starter since '02 is extremely pathetic.
  12. Peter Gammons article Tomo Ohka would be sweet as well. I'd rather have Armas, but hey, whatever we can get will work.
  13. Jay Mariotti is an idiot, but honestly, he is a great writer. Think about it. He makes you think...no matter if you like him or you hate him it is good business money. Thats why he has his own show and that is why ESPN Radio 1000 is making money off of him, according to Len Weiner, program director. He mentioned that no matter if you hate him or love him, he'll always draw ratings. He started the whiner line for all of the b****ing and moaning fans. I love what is being done in Chicago media. Way to go, Hawkins.
  14. Do we know any posters with connections to the Intimidators? That'd be SWEET to get some of the draft picks on soxtalk.com
  15. But Shingo has more experience than Marte?
  16. Politte actually would work as plan D if something were to happen to Shingo or Botch.
  17. No way in hell is Larussa coming back to the sox. He has past history of not having good blood with GM's, but the owners he is fine with. He's not managing the White Sox, god forbid, I love Ozzie's attitude...
  18. I like this Gio kid, he's going to be the s***.
  19. Bump...come on guys, i don't bite...
  20. Good, so we can recycle the rest of our s***ty farm staff.
