Ladies and Gentleman, Let me get down to business. Yes I am back. Woo hoo. But I am making some changes around in my style. You will not see me start many threads to begin my new chance at posting. Yes, the mmm beastly is gone as well. I will probably stay out of the sex lies and politics forum because I do not feel like getting into an arguement. I realize that I will be challanged greatly because of the hardships of people wanting to "test" me as I hear what I hear. So let me just reitterate this, I am here as a fan for the Chicago White Sox. I am not here as bozo the clown for an interview. The reason I put this thread in here (notice I will not post in here to begin with for a little while until i feel safe) is because I believe I need to focus of what goes where and how I can express my details in a common, calm manner. Let me say one thing; I'm very passionate to the site. Just like tonight's ballgame in which we never gave up until it was over; I will not give up in my efforts to become a top of the line poster. This is the first step of many-finding your trust within me. Thank you. And one more thing, go WHITE SOX!!! Sincerely, Ross Meister

4 guys the Sox should and very well could get

They all would do wonders for us except for anderson, because we have Harris, but surely is an upgrade. KW just thinks the world of Harris. -
Alrightie then, so I am not quote sucking the juice out of my words end quote so I will THINK OUT OF THE BOX for reasoning of WHY I want the players. BALTIMORE (2) -- Jason Johnson, rhp Damian Moss, lhp.-Do I say anymore? MOST of the POSTERS here love these two for canidates of our rotation. BOSTON (2)--Edwin Almonte, rhp; Gabe Kapler, of-Almonte was traded, but you know, I'd like a minor league deal on his resume, even if we DON'T get him to the MAJORS. As for Kapler, he's a KW guy that suits the OF role the Sox want, IMHO. CLEVELAND (1) -- Danys Baez, rhp-Closer Material if Koch gets traded, AGAIN, HIGHLY UNLIKELY. OAKLAND (2) -- Frank Menechino, inf; Mark Redman, lhp.-Hands down on pitchers and inf's. I like Menechino's versatility. National League CHICAGO (3) --Randall Simon, 1b.-I'm sure like SOME of the other posters here would enjoy seeing the sausage beater come to the South side if we CAN sucker Evans into a deal for Konerko, which, at this point is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. CINCINNATI (2) --Ruben Mateo, of; Reggie Taylor, of.-We need OF's. Its that simple. COLORADO (2) -- Scott Elarton, rhp; Jay Payton, of-Like Mateo and Taylor, we need an OF. Elarton would be good as an AAAA player like some of Kenny Williams minor league signings for the competition of No. 5. FLORIDA (1) --Braden Looper, rhp.-We need some RP's in the bullpen. MONTREAL (1) --Orlando Hernandez, rhp-He's had some good years, some down years, hell why not No. 4 or 5 PHILADELPHIA (1) --Valerio De Los Santos, lhp.-See Looper, add in the LHP consideration. Okay, so notice that I listed EVERYONE as POSSIBILITIES and not everyone is signed, so you all know what I mean. I hope this helps.

Thank you for telling me that sir, I appreciate it.

You know there are some of you that think some of us spam. Well mercy, I don't know what Spam is. I guess I try to express my IDEAS wrongly to you guys, but after all, I also am thinking that how else am I going to improve posts when all I can do is argue. What? Do you want me to use the angry emoticon instead of CAPS? Another thing, I don't get it. A message board is about quality of posts, not quanity, so what are you all b****ing and complaining about SPAM and Padding posts...it doesn't matter...but whatever...

How do they judge what position we get for draft picks? Is it the order the Free Agents are signed?

Ben Petrick - OF - Detroit Tigers Dec 17 Tigers designated catcher-outfielder Ben Petrick for assignment. Even the lowly Tigers wouldn't give Petrick too much of an opportunity after trading for him last season, but he didn't force them to do so by hitting just .225 in 43 games. The best that Petrick can hope for this winter is that someone will sign him to play against lefties. No team is going to consider him as a regular, though at age 26, he still has a chance to become one later on.

Indians signed RHP Bobby Howry to a minor league contract. Howry missed most of last season after undergoing elbow surgery. He might come back and become an adequate reliever for Cleveland, but it probably won't happen right away. Odds are that he'll need to spend some time at Triple-A Buffalo.

The Orioles have yet to make an offer to free agent Sidney Ponson, but that should change soon.
