  1. I was all about Valentin mocking Sosa and being a CubsKilla.
  2. At least Valentin had more power. Clayton couldn’t hit anything for s%*#. Awful average and not much to add to the team. A consolation price for no A Rod.
  3. Was it Paniagua or another pitcher that had an incident in St. Louis where there were threats?
  4. I don’t remember the Clayton versus Valentin stuff, but I do remember Clayton hitting like crap. Jeremy Burke still feels that hit from Torii Hunter. Paniagua and Koch too, maybe. I don’t remember players hating them but maybe fans did.
  5. Best case scenario here. Let’s go get it tomorrow and hope Minnesota finds their way for a day.
  6. How about a little luck a la El Duque against Boston in 2005?
  7. They couldn’t lay off the ball in the dirt. As if they are going to get a hit down there.
  8. Five BOMBS, decent defense (WTF Grandal?) and great pitching. Suck it Cleveland, don’t play games with a wet field to try and get an advantage next time! See your asses next week!
  9. I’m glad I’m working from home with no meetings this afternoon because I keep hearing about the home runs and yelling, that’s another BOMB!
  10. Let’s at least make them sweat and feel the heat. And beat the living daylights out of them to take the wind out of their sails in the playoffs!
  11. Exactly. It’s almost like they got their marketing wrong. Focus on the caring nature of treatments or show doctors with patients. Don’t play a loud song about surviving with people who are suffering and who may have a terminal illness (my father in law did before he passed). Sorry all, the commercials just take me back to his suffering and I wish they would reconsider.
  12. Those are tough commercials to see for families who have a sick family member. f***
  13. Should have hired him in 2012 instead of Ventura!
  14. Damn. Well, that makes things even tougher.
  15. Even if the Sox win, the Guardians need to lose for them to gain ground. The Sox almost need to be perfect the rest of the way and perform well against Cleveland to force a one game playoff or win the division by the narrowest of margins.
