  1. Clase barely got out of there. I’m glad they are at least making these guys work for it. Huge games coming up against the Guardians.
  2. I’ll go spray the park to repel TLR. Don’t worry, it’s just water since he needs his liquor.
  3. And I’ll pray for that if that’s what it takes.
  4. He was better off staying retired. This team needed someone like A.J. Hinch instead of TLR. Just because he had an outstanding managerial career in the past, doesn’t mean he would succeed in today’s game. He isn’t the only reason this team was dog s%*# for most of the year, but he did make questionable decisions and there’s no question that the team has played better without him.
  5. I have this beer in my refrigerator ready to celebrate when Russia loses this war. What a weak army and a dick they have as their ruler.
  6. Talk about someone who just wants to whine and shine the flashlight elsewhere.
  7. The drums remind me of Cleveland in the 90s and 00s. Annoying and incessant.
  8. Just in time for them to play CLE and the loser gets knocked down to third when we take the series against the A’s.
  9. It’s okay to be positive and send well wishes, but it is also important to want a painless passing, which is what I hope she had.
  10. DH Tim and start Andrus at SS or share time at SS between the two. Otherwise do what the people here say to do and put Andrus at 2b, a position he hasn’t played at. It’s okay, Moncada moved to third from second so we know the Sox could do that.
  11. No idea. I like the White Sox team that is winning in spite of TA being out though. They sure shut up Josh Nelson who was on 670 predicting doom and gloom last weekend against the Twins and this week against the Mariners. Yes, but with how Anderson has been defensively this year and how smart Andrus has been playing, I have to lean towards keeping Andrus there for most of the games when TA returns.
  12. Hahaha! Crazy thought, but what if they kept Andrus at short and had Anderson DH to start? I’m not so sure they DFA Harrison but I don’t see another move outside of optioning Gonzalez.
  13. Kelly Wunsch got revenge just now for getting hit with a batter ball and throwing it down the line in the 2000 ALDS.
  14. This might be silly, but, when Anderson comes back, does Romy get sent down and where does Andrus play? This is under the assumption they won’t DFA Harrison.
  15. Ah Rodon. Someone they should have offered the QO to. And someone that people said Kopech would replace. Oh well.
  16. Cool, I have a friend who is passively looking for a Payton which is why I asked. That seems like a good price.
  17. He didn’t get a good read on a ball to him that caused a run to score. An outfielder would have made that catch. And the coaching staff and the catchers that don’t catch don’t seem to care when a play isn’t made and runners move up 90 feet.
  18. They remind me of Adam Dunn playing in a Sox uniform in a NL ballpark.
  19. 1. A person can change their mind and think differently when presented with another argument. Maybe you’ve convinced me to think differently, so it’s best to move on to the next point of Sheets and Vaughn. The reason I even mentioned the loss of production is that I can envision a scenario where Abreu is gone and people complain that production is missing. 2. I’m not really married to the idea that anyone is unmovable on this team. They probably won’t trade Vaughn, but if the offer is there, they should consider taking it. Like I said, it probably won’t happen. And yes, maybe I undervalue the return for Sheets. We will see if he is worth something, only the offseason will tell. 3. I haven’t seen many position players signings that are at least three years and see a lot of one or two year deals with options. I’d like to see an investment from them in a multi year deal on a starting position player from outside the organization. I haven’t seen that beyond Grandal and we know he had been underwhelming. We will see if he spends $38M towards a starting position player and a starting pitcher. Let’s see what the offseason brings.
  20. At least you have offered a suggestion of how to fix holes with a trade possibility to Milwaukee whereas others have just clung to Andrew Vaughn as an untouchable.
  21. Pictures of some of these would be cool to see. How much is the Payton worth?
  22. The media training is really shining through with some of these quotes.
