I was 10 feet away from JR at Buehrle’s Statue Unveling Ceremony. It took a lot to not say anything to him (didn’t think getting kicked out was worth it). Oh well, someone got this one in. I missed when Plesac was there. How did he sound and was he better than Beckham?

Also I’ve been listening to the radio the majority of the game. It is such a better way of following this team than watching the wannabe play by play guy on CHSN who had no business replacing Benetti. Also, Detroit sucks.

I was right up there at the pregame ceremonies. Buehrle, his family, his parents, AJP, Guillen, Dye, Reinsdorf, Widger, Crede, Garcia, Contreras, Uribe, and Baines were there. Someone said Iguchi’s name and that Ozuna was there, but I had trouble identifying some players on the team. El Duque could have been in the crowd and I wouldn’t have noticed him without his jersey on.

Check the infield corners (sections 154 and 110). Those tickets are typically cheaper and my guess is you can move around to get a better vantage point. StubHub and whitesox.com would be my best guess to find a deal. Unfortunately I can’t find the coupons needed to get deep discounts on tickets on whitesox.com anymore. I did see a Bleachers and Brews deal for the 7/11 game in case you wouldn’t mind sitting in the outfield sections.

I am a bit behind on the times, but I have questions about NBA free agency. What are Bird Rights, the amnesty provision, max deals, mid level exceptions and is the veteran’s minimum? What other types of contracts should I be aware of? Why do teams do sign and trades instead of just outright sign free agents? Also, why are first round picks dealt like crazy and what determines if a pick can be top 10 protected or not?

How did he look towards the end of his outing? 104 pitches through five seems like a lot.

I think the anger should be used towards Brooks Boyer about the TV deal and the fact that some of us would need to spend an extra $120 per year to see the White Sox on Comcast after some already spent money on the antenna.

What does it cost and do you have that in addition to cable?

So last year I could turn on the craptastic turf sandwich White Sox games on my basic Comcast package. Then they shut down the Comcast channel, said an OTA antenna is okay and now they need me to upgrade to watch another shitty team? f*** Comcast and Reinsdorf!
