  1. Well Devers never got traded cause Boston knew what they had. Moncada was all style and no subtance. Keep being a Hahn stan if you want though. It's been working real great the last 6 years.
  2. Yep. It's actually like they took the time to scout their own guys and project them out. Some organizations put in the work. Others sit on the couch and and eat cheetos and hot pockets all day and wonder why their pants don't fit anymore.
  3. https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/red-sox/how-close-did-red-sox-come-trading-rafael-devers-chris-sale-let-dave-dombrowski-explain Dombrowski is quoted in the article as saying their reports were very smiliar for Benintendi, Devers, and Moncada. The Hahn quotes in that article have aged poorly as well. Still waiting for that first playoff series win yet a WS championship or two.
  4. Or The Sox just did a terrible job of scouting the Yankees prospects and asked for total bums?
  5. Sure. However, it is now six years later and the same front office that made the Sale trade is still around. There wer also warning signs with Moncada ( striking out like 70% of the time in his first cup of coffee and reports of terrible nutrition habits ( eating a box of twinkies a day). There is a reason why Boston was willing to trade Moncada and didn't declare him untouchable.
  6. Good question. Hahn should have pushed harder for Devers instead of Moncada.
  7. That article doesn't say anything about which stats are true and which stats are false in regards to Sox players.
  8. Isn't Robert worth like 50 million plus? Surely the cat can afford lasik surgery or some designer glasses, no?
  9. Do you have a source on this is exactly where stats lie?
  10. Seriously? Do you have any links to a scouting report that links Madrigal to the OG Tony Gywnn? Any kid with that kind of bat profile is likely getting picked 1:1 straight out of high school and has no need for college baseball. It was never ever okay to take Madrigal with a top 5 pick.
  11. Still pisses me off that the Sox tanked a whole season only to draft Madrigal. Who in thier right minds would ever draft a college player with a top 5 pick that can barely hit the ball 400 feet during batting practice? The guy is also one of the worst baserunners I have ever seen. Whoever scouted and signed off on the Madrigal pick hopefully is no longer employed by the White Sox.
  12. Very well put. The Sox are right back to where they were in 2016 it appears. Mired in medioricy. Too bad the front office here appear to be made men. Who knows how this rebuild would look if JR had just done the prudent thing 6 years ago and sh%t canned Hahn and company.
  13. How can anyone trust this front office not to completely botch the retool?
  14. You've asked me a million questions or at least one in every post lol. Hard to keep them all straight. You never answer direct questions though. Ain't no denying that. Kind of like your guy Rick Hahn. No wonder you stan for him so much.
  15. You can never answer a question straight up. Very peculiar.
  16. I concur. I bet he is kicking himself a bit for taking that 6 year extension for 25 Million back in 17. He is seeing all these big contracts for other SS and wants a bigger piece of the pie.
  17. Sorry but it wasn't obvious at all. Didn't your guy Rick Hahn say that the $ will be spent? He is a liar now? I don't believe in TLR. I'm glad is gone and think the Sox will be much better for it. I was just pushing back against the make believe of some around here that Tony was the sole reason the Sox didn't win against Houston in the ALDS.
  18. Say what now? The Sox shouldn't spend $ to improve the current team because they have awful leadership? But yet that same awful leadership is going to tear everything down and rebuild something greater?
  19. I want the Sox to spend $ and go for it not rebuild. How is that literal mediocrity?
  20. Giolito pitched game 2 though and didn't do well. He pitched 4.1 innings and you wanted him pulled way before that. Cease pitched 1.2 innings in game 3 at home and got absolutely destroyed. Sounds like a good way to absolutely destroy your bullpen in games 1 and 2. It was an impossible situation for the Sox players to hit a severaly injured Lance McCullers?
  21. Thank you. I got some Blockbuster video stores and FTX tokens to sell to anyone who thinks another rebuild with Hahn and JR as owner is a good idea. No more tanking! It doesn't work for organizations like the White Sox!
  22. That is a lot of words to basically say that the players didn't do their jobs well and execute. Houston averaged 7.75 runs per game in that series. The Sox team era was 7.94 for the series. Outside of game the game 3 explosion the offense averaged 2 runs a game. Starting Lynn in game one was curious, but who are you starting in his place?
  23. Again, I'm specifically asking about the 2021 Playoff series against Houston. So if the Sox had Ned Yost as their manager for that series against Houston then the Sox would have won?
  24. You are now moving the goalposts. I agree that Tony likley cratered 2022. So please tell me what manager gets the Sox past Houston in 2021?
