The Sox refuse to up their payroll to cover their bad spending. They also have no pipeline of minor league talent. The lighting in a bottle approach of 2006 to 2016 is back. Better get used to it as it is the only way a franchise like the Sox can ever be succcessful.

Why can't the Sox afford to trade prospects either right now or at the trade deadline? The competive window to win is 2023 and maybe 2024. There is absolutely not going to be any kind of sustained success here. That ship has totally sailed. The Sox need to go all out to win a world series the next two years. They are going to be really bad in 3-4 years no matter what.

Another tank job is completely and totally out of the question. The Sox will stay in the middle lane of the highway driving an even 65mph. They are a staus quo organization.

How about they keep both Hendricks and Graveman? They are your closer and 8th inning guy in 2023. The Sox are a team with World Series aspirations. If the budget is tapped out then it is time to trade away some of the top prospects.

The rebuild was headed for disaster for the jump. Letting Hahn and company architect the rebuild was such a colossal blunder. This FO needs a $350 million dollar annual payroll in order to be considered legit contenders. Trying to rebuild when you have absolutely no idea how to scout, draft, and develop talent is a recipe for what we are seeing now.

Why in the world are the Sox trying to trade Giolito and Hendricks during a year that they are supposed to be competing for a World Series? Why create two big holes on your mlb roster? This is crazy talk to me. Why stop with just those guys? Dylan Cease is value is at all time high as well right now. Think of all the shiny prospects the Sox could get for him! Total insanity.

The "process" in Philadelphia has been an epic failure. Those bozos made their fans sit through 3 straight seasons where they didn't even win 20 games. All those years flushed down the toilet and they couldn't even win one Eastern Conference Championship. It will never happen in a million years but the "epic Fail" tank jobs by professional sports orgainizations should be punished heavily in someway. Ownership should be forced to pay back season ticket holders and the fanbase in someway. Relegation like in professional socceer should be implemented in some fashion as well.
