Gregory Santos reactivated from the 60-day, so he should make his Mariners debut this week.

Wolkow finished 1-3 with a HR, 3 RBI, and 2 BB. He K'd once looking, on a borderline pitch where he made it clear that he didn't love the call. Clearly working on his plate discipline. But don't let the giant King George mashing baseballs distract you from the short king Rikuu also slapping them all over the place. Nishida went 5-6 (!!!) with 3 RBI, a 3B, and a SB. Kanny wins 8-2.

Wolkow with another HR.

My guy Mason Adams doing Mason Adams things: 6IP, 2ER, 6H, 1BB, 9K. Barons are going to need some offensive reinforcements without Quero and Baldwin though.

Knights win, 8-3. 5 HRs for the game (Baldwin, Quero, Montgomery, Chavis, Payton). Baldwin 2-3 with a HR and walk. Quero 1-4 with a HR. Montgomery 1-4 with a HR. Colas 1-3 with a 3B, SB, heads up baserunning, and a nice sliding catch. Fletcher 1-4 with solid CF defense. Also some solid pitching for guys we should start seeing in the MLB pen this year and next (Leasure, Coffey, Ellard, Peralta). Knights suddenly very exciting.

Colson's turn for a ? Absolutely crushed 417ft to RF

Quero HR now, this is fun

LOL Baldwin HR in his first AB

Tommy Vail was scheduled to start for Kanny, but he apparently got promoted to WS. Keener is starting on short rest instead...a walk and 2 HBP in the first, but he wiggles out of it.

Mena optioned back down after his debut. Duke Ellis claimed by the Mariners.

Pillar hit a home run in his last start with the Sox. He said something postgame about a breakthrough he thought he made with Thames. He got cut, and now is slashing .317/.369/.542 as an Angel. Although he's cooled off a bunch lately (.200/.289/.300 in his last 15), so maybe the Thames magic needs to be reupped regularly to stay effective.

Barons with a very exciting and very much needed comeback walkoff win! The score was 7-1 headed into bottom 9. Not much going on offense other than an Elko solo shot, combined with some sloppiness and bad luck on the other side of the ball. Two singles (Veras, Turner) and a walk to load the bases, then an RBI HBP makes it 7-2. Hogan adds 2 with a ground rule double and it's quickly 7-4 with two on and no outs. Santos smells a winnable game, so he pinch hits Quero. Quero reminds the Trash Pandas what they're missing with a 2 RBI single, 7-6 Barons. Still no outs. Pitching change, and Tatum pinch runs for Quero. Gonzo doubles to right, and they're a base hit away from a win... Baldwin breaks his 0-20ish slump with a well struck walkoff RBI hit to left on the first pitch. Barons win 8-7, and you could really, really tell how much they needed it.

Cease, first 8 starts: 49.1 IP, 2.19 ERA, 2 HR, 12ER, 0.75 WHIP Cease, last 10 starts: 52.2 IP, 6.15 ERA, 11 HR, 36ER, 1.46 WHIP The latter line includes a 7IP/0ER start he had last week...but also 4 starts where he went < 5IP and 5 starts where he gave up more than 4ER. Gave up a homer in 7/10, and 2+ homers in 4/10 which is causing a lot of the damage.

Cherry picked stat, but a fun one.

Colson dips a few spots to #16. Schultz leaps from #37 to #18, Thorpe up from #52 to #38, Quero up from #92 to #74.

Dart looked good. Gave up a run on a triple + groundout to the first two batters, and then didn't allow another baserunner. 3IP, 1H, 1ER, 3K, 0BB. Hitting 96-97.
