3-0 swinging HR by Popeye for the lead Montgomery works his way to a walk from an 0-2 count.

Pretty nice start by Chase Solesky: 6.2IP, 1R (unearned), 3BB, 2K. Defense helped by turning 3 DPs behind him, wiping out two of his three walks. Unfortunately, the 3rd walk scored on a error to tie the game at 1. Leasure came on in the 10th to try to preserve the tie, but gave up a walk off HR. Knights lose, 3-1.

Nastrini starting tomorrow for the Barons., FYI.

He's a smart player.

Hack with 3 doubles in 3 games for Charlotte so far. The most recent one scored Sosa, who was on after an RBI double of his own.

Walkoff HR for DJ Gladney in WS.

Harris has walked both times up today. The first time, Park reached on a two base error and they both scored on a HR. The second time, Park followed with his first KCB hit, a soft liner to right center. Harris hustled 1st to 3rd, and later scored on a WP.

Bases loaded, one out for Montgomery... Ground ball FC gets the out at home. Popeye follows up with another FC at home to end the inning.

Burke HR, his first for WS.

After a single and two walks to load the bases, Montgomery ties the game with a big RBI! ...on a bases loaded HBP. Popeye RBI walk. Ramos gets his RBIs in a flashier way, with a slam to center. 6-1 Barons.

Cannon was perfect through 3, until a bunt single died in no man's land on the 3rd base side grass. Nice throw from Quero nearly nailed the runner, but Popeye just missed the tag/ball. He scored from 2nd on a single two outs later. Barons down 1-0. Nice play from Popeye on the last out:

Brent Honeywell released by the Padres. Wouldn't mind claiming him.

The trio of Gonzalez/Harris/Park up to Kanny, so we can actually see them in action. I know everyone is refreshing deadline news, but there's some fun stuff to watch after too.
