    What does this even mean?

There were runners on first and third in the bottom of the second, ball hit to Burger who stepped on 1st for the force and then the other runner stayed in the rundown long enough for the man on 3rd to score. They didn't count the run at first, but I guess they went back and adjusted and the app didn't know how to report it.

As of right now on some betting sites he's the eighth favorite for ROY. The top 2 are clear favorites but after that it's tightly bunched It will change based on injuries and performance.

I threw some money on it at +4000. After seeing him more in ST, kinda wish I threw down a little more...

  3. Graveman probably could've gone another inning, since he only threw six pitches.

I imagine we sent him with a 1IP limit though, since he had stamina issues last year and we're obviously going to be relying on him a lot this season.

In other Sox news, TA just made a nice tag play to catch a guy stealing 2nd.

  4. Yo with a perfect day at the plate: 2-2, 2BB, 2B, 1R

Luis made some solid contact with a hard hit RBI groundout and a deep fly to center left. The 0-3 isn't flashy, but his RBI was the first of the game and his run scored after reaching on a HBP ended up being the difference in the result.

Cuba heads to the semis, and we'll be waiting a little longer to get our boys back in camp.

  5. Moncada continues to punish baseballs for their misdeeds.

Robert gets the game tying RBI later in the inning on a groundout (100mph off the bat, if he'd only elevate the ball more...)

And in addition to our pair of Sox on the field, Team Australia and the booth are sending their respect and well wishes to Liam. Liam vs. Moncada/Robert definitely would've made for some interesting friendly fire matchups in this setting.

  6. Colas gets a nod from Baseball America as the #3 hottest prospect in ST this week (after Josh Jung and Casey Schmitt):

    Quote

    Why He’s Here: .417/.462/.917 (5-for-12), 4 R, 0 2B, 0 3B, 2 HR, 2 RBIs, 1 BB, 0 SO, 0-for-1 SB

The Scoop: Colas has a good shot of landing in the White Sox’s outfield on Opening Day, possibly pushing Eloy Jimenez to a DH role. The Cuban signee was impressive on both sides of the ball in his first season after signing with Chicago. Across three levels, he hit .314/.371/.524 with 23 home runs. He’s been scorching this spring, too, with a 1.052 OPS and two longballs in 14 games.
