    Yep, he's getting traded. And I'd imagine whoever trades for him views him as a 2-2.5 year rental. They will pitch him to the ground and then whoever signs him as a FA, he's their problem.

    I think he gets traded in the offseason because I don't think a contending team would trust him to throw 200+ innings including the postseason. He will be ready for it next year after the jump this year.

    I'd imagine that they're pushing him because teams want to see if he can throw 100 pitches consistently.

    Nothing much to write home about offensively. Eder k'd 10. I didn't know he threw a curveball but it was working really well tonight.

    Eder had a rocky 2nd, walked the 1st 2 batters, allowed a single. Struck out 2 and got a pop out to allow no runs. 93-95 with the heater

    88-90 as a RHP is different than sitting 92-93. This will work, but if his fastball backs up it becomes trouble.

    Shades of Shane Bieber. I have probably been the biggest Thorpe skeptic, but if he's really sitting 92-93 this will work. I was concerned if he was 88-90.

    Taylor isn't being challenged in Kanny, they should probably find a way to get him to W/S

    So now that Thorpe and Cannon are with the Sox, there are going to be some pitching promotions, right? Eder is 25 I'd like to see him in Charlotte and Taylor should go up to W/S at least IMO.

    I was watching his highlight package and it seems he's 91-93 and tops at 94.

    Yeah, would not surprise me at all if Getz is actually worse than Hahn. For all his faults, Hahn knew how to be a seller.
