If Moncada is hitting .260+ with a .750+ OPS he's solid with the defense he plays. Like what he did in 2021 is fine. Just not worth $24M.

I'm completely over anyone on the MLB roster improving. They are what they are at this point. Moncada got so lucky with the bouncy ball in 2019, as it propelled him to over $100M in career earnings. Even if he's out of baseball in a few years, he's set for life.
