Beltran will want the same type of money Wilson got, and the Sox's wouldn't dish that kinda of money out. According to the Sox's budget there financially strapped, so it's extremely unlikely they'll even consider trading for a high price outfielder. Signing Colon should be there top priority, we have enough young OF's for now.

Malone wasn't totally healthy last season, if he has a good spring he'll be in AAA, if he does bad he'll be in AA. I guess it all depends of if he's healthy. He should get a call in September to join the Sox's.

White isn't a long reliever, he's the type of guy you put out there for only 1 inning (2 tops), he has a tendency to get hit hard if he pitches several innings.

Munoz is most likely going to be converted into a starter, he should start slow in AAA and then get some starts in AA.

The more i think about it, the better the chance of the Sox's going after Rogers. If KW really does trade Jose Valentin, we'll have more then enough money to get Rogers.

I think i just figured out why KW would make this trade. KW keeps saying he needs to be "creative", he's made it clear he wants Kenny Rogers (but dosen't have the money). So, he trades Jose and his 5 mil (+ Rauch or the deal dosen't happen) for Rollins. The Phillies are then glad to take the 5 mil, because there getting a stud prospect. This gives KW about 4.5 mil in extra money, which he can use to sign Kenny Rogers. Any thoughts?

Yeah, i dont get why the Phillies would be willing to move Jimmy Rollins. If Rauch is involved that's another story, but Rollins is making 500K while JV is making 5 mil, it wouldn't make any sense for them to make this deal.

Preston Wilson is overrated, he's not that good of a hitter and i hate K's.

If your gonna trade Rauch, you might as well go after Tejada. Rauch, Manos, and 2 other mid-level prospects (Sanders and Stewart) could get the job done.

If we give up Rauch, i'd want to see another top prospect from the Phillies in the deal.
