  1. And both Getz and Venable are to blame. Getz kept him on the roster and Venable kept playing him.
  2. And they aren’t worth a penny combined, just like in real life.
  3. You needed to sign up for it between March 25th and March 31st. But for next season, if T-Mobile offers MLB.TV for free again (they have offered it free for every year since MLB and T-Mobile have had a deal together), you just sign up and create an MLB.com account with your email, and you will be able to use your Nord VPN to avoid White Sox game blackouts on MLB.TV by assigning a location away from Chicago. And of course, you can watch every other MLB game you want as well with MLB.TV. I have Windscribe VPN and assign my location to England to avoid local Chicago blackouts. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 😀 https://slickdeals.net/f/18128149-eligible-t-mobile-customers-2025-mlb-tv-season-stream-subscription-free-to-claim-via-t-mobile-t-life-app-valid-thru-4-1?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue|Search%3AType%3Anormal|Search%3ASort%3Arelevance|Search%3AHideExpired%3Afalse
  4. I wonder if Stone Pony is still going to talk about how Vaughn is ready to break out at any moment. That Osik dude was probably right and Vaughn is just a lazy ass that took his talent and career for granted.
  5. Yes, I thought weather only affected satellite. When I had awful DirecTV it was in and out all the time when there was a storm.
  6. Was he saying sorry for messing up the tickets or to you being a White Sox fan? 🤔
  7. It was only ever free OTA because CHSN didn’t have a deal with Comcast at the time of the network’s launch, even though the two sides were negotiating. Now, 8 months later, CHSN and Comcast have finally reached an agreement, which led to the end of the OTA broadcast. Once again, why would Comcast agree to a deal with CHSN to broadcast the channel and games, but still allow CHSN to broadcast the channel OTA for free? How would that be a good business model for Comcast?
  8. “It’s working… they are falling for it. I should be able to milk at least four more years before I sell this flaming turd to Justin. Great job, Chris! I am promoting you to Executive Vice President!”
  9. Not sure how much TLR is doing these days. He is looking very old and frail after seeing him in a picture at a Sox game with Dombrowski.
  10. Currently? Free yearly MLB.TV through T-Mobile along with VPN. In the past, I used to find various live MLB streams on Reddit. But there are also websites out there that work. I sent you a PM.
  11. And you really think it’s their fault that CHSN removed their OTA broadcast? Not that Xfinity demanded it? Or do you think that if enough people in Chicagoland figured out how to connect an antenna to their TV, that Xfinity wouldn’t have made the deal with CHSN to broadcast the network because they wouldn’t be able to steal away all the antenna users?
  12. It will be interesting to see what he signs for if he becomes a free agent. I agree that he will likely sign a 1-year deal to recoup his value, like WE and Bob Sacamano said. Moncada was able to get $5 million from the Angels and he’s been injury-prone and unproductive for years. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Robert sign for 1-year and $10 to $15 million.
  13. Dude, do you really think people don’t know how to buy an antenna and screw it into a TV? You are obviously just upset that you lost your free access to White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks games. Yeah, it sucks, but this isn’t the fault of Chicago sports fans. CHSN has been working on a deal with Xfinity since we first heard about the new CHSN network. Xfinity isn’t going to agree to a contract to broadcast White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks games if CHSN is also giving it away free to people in the Chicagoland area. Why would Xfinity agree to that deal and then lose a large share of their target market?
  14. It probably had a lot to due with the age of the vets he was acquiring. One of Hahn’s few good free agent pickups that we already discussed was James McCann, but he was still relatively young (28) when Hahn signed him. But still, it’s amazing that any GM could be that unlucky and never hit on at least a few good veteran seasons on one-year deals.
