  1. How the hell is Getz’s best trade and return from Tanner freaking Banks?
  2. WhiteSoxDave of Barstoolsports wrote an article including a tidbit of news that Jerry is having Getz cut the payroll once again this upcoming offseason to around $100 million. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3520789/breaking-down-todays-big-3-team-trade-between-the-white-sox-dodgers-and-cardinals-involving-erick-fedde-and-michael-kopech
  3. What an epically horrible trade deadline for a team that supposedly had numerous assets to deal. Getz packaged Fedde, Kopech, and Pham for a lesser return and prioritized saving money for Jerry. Losers, all of them…
  4. Can’t manage to trade your two best assets for anything and get back an underwhelming return for Fedde, but Getz and the Sox damn sure know how to shed some money.
  5. We had to have paid almost all of his salary for them.
  6. Thank god. Trading Eloy will bump up Getz’s trade deadline grade.
  7. Getz gets a D for his offseason, only because of Fedde but he gets an F for the trade deadline for not maximizing the value of Fedde or any of the other flop candidates he acquired.
  8. I’m not buying that bogus Twitter account.
  9. I was assuming we were going to acquire 3 bats to plug and play into our lineup almost immediately. Meanwhile, we got one questionable bat only.
  10. Don’t ask me… why didn’t Getz get any prospect(s) from the Cardinals?
  11. Would be amazing if related to Crochet. He would be a true headliner.
  12. The Marlins won the trade deadline, making trades Getz couldn’t think up in his wet dreams.
  13. To be fair, I’m 44 but I only know what it is because of my 15 and 16 year old boys.
  14. Build back some value? Huh? Crochet may never be more valuable than he is today. He could fall apart the rest of the season due to hitting the wall, or god forbid, get injured.
  15. If that’s the case, Getz was expecting far too much from him. Like I said, DeJong has had one truly good season and that was 5 years ago. His career line is: .229 .296 .419 .715 If he was truly expecting breakout seasons from some of his acquisitions, he acquired the wrong guys.
  16. Huh?!? DeJong is having his best season since he was an All-Star five years ago in 2019.
  17. Sure, they took what they could get, but Vargas was the headliner. Just like Walker would have been the headliner if St. Louis was willing to give him up. Those 19 year olds may not be ready for 4 to 5 years, if ever.
  18. Even dumbass Bernstein sounds intelligent here.
  19. I don’t know, the Sox did target Jordan Walker of the Cardinals and then grabbed Vargas instead. Both players that you would plug into the lineup right after you acquire them.
