  1. The great catcher that Getz developed has been DFA. “Mariners designated C Seby Zavala for assignment.“ Never forget Seby.
  2. Where did the article ever mock Wilder for making minimum wage? All I saw was this excerpt: But you do know, many people lie or work cash only jobs to hide their income in an effort to get their child support lowered.
  3. So bad players are worth millions just because the Sox make a lot of money and can afford it? Huh? Other MLB teams make millions as well and even more than the Sox. They didn’t waste $8.8 million on these same two awful players.
  4. I’m pretty sure you already know the answer to your last question. But you’ve watched them play this year. Do you think Maldonado is worth $4.5 million and Lopez is worth $4.3 million?
  5. Basallo has also played 1B in the minors. They could just play him there over mediocre Mountcastle.
  6. Here’s the one with the cuck husband. His wife is about to pounce the Big Hurt. Cracks me up every time. ”And trust me, she’ll like it too.” Frank already knows…
  7. Okay, I’ll wait until one of these two guys gets traded and then give you credit. But you also said that a Rule 5 pick Shane Drohan was one of the Sox top 15 pitching prospects and Getz DFA him like two weeks later.
  8. I don’t think anyone wants Sheets either and I doubt either guy is traded.
  9. No one is trading for .680 OPS Andrew Vaughn. Sorry to have awoken you from your wet dream.
  10. So why pay bad ones more money than they are worth? Either sign better free agents or play young players. There was really no reason for Getz to waste millions on guys like Maldonado and Lopez this year. It sure didn’t pay off.
  11. I’m a bit surprised by the timing of this article, as Julks is now down to .239 / .309 / .409 / .718. MEH.
  12. Okay, but ideally your team is paying good players a lot of money. Not crappy ones.
  13. But did you know that the Sox haven’t been shut out in the last 41 games?
  14. Was thinking this second part as well. Betts’ backup (Miguel Rojas) is pretty good but maybe they would prefer to keep him in a utility role.
  15. There is only one poop master. I am just a cheap imitation.
  16. Even right as a Sun Times article talks about limiting Crochet’s innings.
  17. ? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> White Sox baseball.
  18. Not saying he will always be this hit or miss but I think it’s pretty obvious why he has been traded twice already. Teams don’t view him as a true ace without that high velocity fastball. Made him a tradable asset rather than being viewed as untouchable.
  19. Nah, he’s lasting until the end of the season. There have been several disasters and he’s still survived.
  20. We’ve seen this song and dance before. When minor leaguers with absolutely zero power come to the majors, major league pitchers challenge them, and it doesn’t go well. Madrigal and Lopez are examples of this. I don’t see much value as a fifth outfielder. And fast guys like that with one tool of speed are always available — Billy Hamilton, Bubba Thompson.
  21. I doubt they would even offer Beavers straight up for Fedde. The trade will likely be with another team than the Orioles.
  22. He had a great offseason… Fedde, Fedde, and Fedde!
  23. He will be yet another quick DFA for a GM who is becoming a master at cutting his own awful acquisitions in lightning speed.
