    He said he just wants to score runs. His plate discipline proved that out tonight. Will be interesting to see him eventually nut a homer, but my guess is that it will be earlier in an at bat.

    Exactly. Madrigal didn't strikeout because he would weakly make contact with everything and groundout. He wasn't actually good at drawing walks. Meidroth doesn't swing at s%*# and actually draw walks.
