I even said that if he sucked, it wouldn’t matter because he would have cost nothing. In any case, either guy would have been a better option than trading anything of value for a 5’6” outfielder that can’t hit a lick. I’m in my mid-40’s. We were talking about position players weren’t we? After all, that’s where the Sox massive gaping hole of talent is. Getz didn’t manage to acquire one positional player that you could honestly and confidently plug into the lineup for 2025.
