  1. Andrew isn't in a slump, Stone Pony. He just sucks.
  2. Starting Maton, Palacios, and Taylor. Gotta love a rebuild...
  3. I’m sure they wanted the extra year of control, which was the right move anyways.
  4. Better than lifting and carrying water for the worst GM in baseball.
  5. How does that relate? Is Getz pivoting to building a veteran team in one offseason?
  6. Unfortunately, the “kids” are 29 year old Palacios and 27 year old Jones. A horrible time to not have a young and ready outfield prospect.
  7. These old vets must be held together with Elmer’s glue and duct tape.
  8. That’s what she said! Poor guy must’ve had a rough childhood with that name.
  9. Just watch — every year, the timeline will increase.
  10. Jesus, so Getz is getting 5 more years with this rebuild?
  11. Tray prefers the owner who made his money via tax shelters and then went on to get taxpayers to pay for his stadium. Hilarious.
  12. He said he just wants to score runs. His plate discipline proved that out tonight. Will be interesting to see him eventually nut a homer, but my guess is that it will be earlier in an at bat.
  13. Meidroth’s favorite stat — runs scored. Chase hasn’t made an out yet. @Chicago White Sox FTW!!!
  14. Exactly. Madrigal didn't strikeout because he would weakly make contact with everything and groundout. He wasn't actually good at drawing walks. Meidroth doesn't swing at s%*# and actually draw walks.
  15. Haha, old man Narvaez pouring it on. Am I wrong or was Narvaez not this fat when he was last with the White Sox?
  16. f*** it. Make him the starting 2B and hitting coach.
  17. And here's and example of a stupid Getz acquisition... Yhoiker Fajardo for 33 year old Cam Booser.
  18. Yep, and he hit around 10 in his minor league seasons in which he didn't really get a full season of at bats.
  19. Exactly. This is how the old Red Sox lineups used to get base runner after base runner.
  20. On base machine, like @Chicago White Sox said. He may even have some untapped power (10 to 15 homers). We'll see...
