  1. The Padres just called up Adam Mazur due to their pitching woes. “Padres selected the contract of RHP Adam Mazur from Triple-A El Paso. Mazur draws the starting assignment on Tuesday night for his big-league debut against the Angels in Los Angeles following an impressive 10-start run this season between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso where he posted a 3.86 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 50/9 K/BB ratio across 51 1/3 innings of work. The 23-year-old righty doesn’t miss a ton of bats, but he’s displayed exemplary control throughout his minor-league tenure since being selected in the second round of the 2022 MLB Draft.”
  2. Julks looks like a starting RF because of 45 at bats? Wow. Pham is a starting LF? He’s 36 years old. Who cares? Getting one win out of each of DeJong and Lopez by the end of the season is a good thing? Your expectations of an MLB GM are ridiculously low. A fan could’ve done a better job than Getz did, maybe even a monkey. JR loves Sox fans like you…
  3. Zavala, DeLoach, and Fletcher. Getz had an offseason and it was one of the worst that I can remember as a Sox fan. It reminds me of the 2016 offseason.
  4. But you trust Getz? Take a look at the positional players and prospects he acquired up to this point. It’s still early (for the prospects he acquired) but the returns are not so good.
  5. The Sox through two GM’s and multiple years haven’t been able to find a 2B or RF. Also, our first round 1B appears to be a bust. Andrew Benintendi? Need I say more? If there is a wrong choice to make, the Sox will usually make it. It probably doesn’t matter anyways as it sure seems like Getz is planning to sell hard.
  6. He was just making a point about Ohtani. Personally, I agree and don’t buy Ohtani’s story at all, but he is the best player in baseball so he is going to be protected.
  7. Sure, it’s legal now but I cannot see the MLB ever allowing players to specifically gamble on their own baseball games. It would lead to the result of almost every game being in doubt. Did this or that player intentionally throw this or that game to win their bets?
  8. Nope, everyone on this site laughs at the fact that you even try to use such a terrible player like Sevy Zavala as an example of anything. I’m still laughing that you are still bringing up such an absolute s%*# player. ?
  9. Like I posted earlier based on his quotes to the media, Pham is a nice old vet player that can hit but he isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.
  10. Never. The MLB just banned the player (Tucupita Marcano) who bet on his own team for life.
  11. Yeah, not a .649 OPS from AA. The Sox are a joke.
  12. He also overthrow a fastball like Ricky Vaughn / Michael Kopech.
  13. Crazy money for the Marlins of all teams to eat.
  14. Undrafted free agent in 2020.
  15. I don’t see Robert getting moved. The offers will be lowball since he will have to come back and perform first.
  16. This guy is terrible and is no where near big league material. Man, Getz is terrible at his job.
  17. No, this will never happen. Gambling would ruin the sanctity of the game. The MLB will never do this.
  18. I am really curious as to what JR could possibly be communicating to Grifol when the Sox are this epically bad.
  19. Pham, Sheets, DeJong, all three will “require a minimal prospect return.”
  20. He’s just as crappy of a hitter as his younger brother. I can see why David was worried enough to have some side action.
  21. What makes this funnier is that Pham supposedly told Schriffen to “calm the f*** down” when he was in the locker room with the players.
  22. The more I read this stuff, he seems like an absolute low IQ moron.
