  1. And neither did you. In this thread alone you jumped from 200 innings in one post down to 150 innings in another. Either way, this discussion is tired and I don’t really care anymore. Back to the game…
  2. Like I said, Stone is saying the same thing as the majority of posters here. No one should feel stupid. There was rationale provided for why Crochet wouldn’t be able to throw a ton of innings this season. I don’t believe I ever saw any rationale provided for why Crochet WOULD be able to throw 150+ innings this season.
  3. Thanks for finding this. So I said I would be surprised if Crochet throws 150 innings, much less 200. I never said 100 so I avoided @JUSTgottaBELIEVE’s shame and ridicule! Yessssss!!!
  4. Oh, sure they can. On multiple old bad veteran acquisitions like almost every offseason. Multiple bad players is better than one good player. Quantity is always greater than quality. It’s the White Sox way.
  5. I don’t think I ever gave an estimate. Either way, he’s at 94.1 innings pitched, not 100 and not 150 yet.
  6. Nice of him to tank his trade value with us. And there’s that improved Getz defense like clockwork!
  7. Nah, I disagree. It was simply guesswork to think Crochet could throw 200 innings this year. Hell, even in this very thread you just made a post about him throwing 200 innings and a second post about him potentially dialing back to 150 innings. 50 more innings is a lot. So which is it?
  8. Well, even Stone is agreeing with the majority of posters on this site that thought the same thing, and he was actually a major league pitcher rather than a message board poster. I’m not seeing the supposed shame when Stone thinks the same thing and has more insight than all of us.
  9. Source for what? I asked the question. Where are all of these other outfielders and DHs, or even other position players, dropping like flies from these recurring hamstring injuries? I know you’ve been Eloy’s number one fan for awhile and refused to admit that he was injury prone, but that ship has sailed. It’s okay to admit that the guy is a bust, mostly due to being injury-prone.
  10. “and no one cared to listen.” ?
  11. During the last broadcast, Steve Stone said they will be cutting back on his innings/outings in some form or fashion eventually.
  12. Agreed. Good pickup for that role but there should be no thoughts of him being a starting corner outfield option for this team going forward.
  13. The production team should be too embarrassed to show how much money the Dodgers spent in the offseason.
  14. A 3 pitch strikeout from Eloy with RISP. How will we ever replace such an absolute STUD?!?
  15. Eloy is an .800 OPS (at best) DH that can’t play the field or stay healthy. He would be easily replaceable if we had an owner who cared about winning and a GM with a clue.
