  1. I’m not talking about 2020. That was a different GM for the Sox. It was one question and you still didn’t answer it. Yes or no?
  2. One question for you to answer and that’s all I’ll need to know — would you trade places with the Orioles right now? The Sox MLB team, minor league system, scouts, development staff, and GM for the Orioles’ equivalent?
  3. Even with their injuries, I’d trade places with them all day long. And as we are discussing this, our team is down by 9 runs and looking at loss #58.
  4. He got Burnes for spare parts when many Sox fans were thinking that the great Getz would rob him of three top 100 prospects for Cease. There’s no reason to doubt Elias at this point.
  5. It’s okay to admit you were wrong and that he’s bad now. Yes, he used to be good but the dude is a couple months away from turning 38 years old. Dude is burnt toast for cripes’ sakes.
  6. They have young players that have panned out and the team is currently competing for the division. Their GM will no doubt make another shrewd move for a starter or two. Meanwhile, there is no guarantee that everything will go right for the Sox, that the majority of their prospects will pan out, and that they will ever compete for anything (see last rebuild). The Orioles are actually doing it NOW.
  7. Yeah, okay. I’d trade teams and farm systems with the Orioles all day long and so would anyone with a brain cell, even with the injuries.
  8. Do you mean too many pop-ups on the site or pop-ups from Vaughn? Also, gonna be funny when Pillar gets traded for something after Getz cut him loose.
  9. Moncada might re-sign with the Sox at a discount if that’s the case.
  10. Why make up a ridiculous hypothetical post that even you know isn’t happening? It’s not funny when you realize who the Sox owner is. It’s only pathetic and sad.
  11. We might be able to get an older Dominic Fletcher for him. Flexen is so bad that it’s not even worth talking about what he could return in a trade.
  12. Because his recent hot streak outweighs his amazing .725 career OPS as a first baseman. ? Bold Prediction: Both Vaughn and Sheets are White Sox after the trade deadline.
  13. The only thing funny or shocking would be Jerry picking up Eloy’s and Moncada’s team options rather than paying their buyouts. Not happening in either tray’s or greg’s wet dreams…
  14. Grifol has consistently played vets over young players this season. If Getz hasn’t told Grifol to wise the fvck up, he is culpable too. Other than the mediocre return we will get for most of our positional players, why would you not want to see what younger players like Colas can do in a wasted season to plan for the future? Also, have you looked at Pham’s stats lately? He isn’t returning jack squat, just like Sheets, whom you have been hyping up recently due to all of the 1B-needy teams. Robert has been terrible. Unless he gets hot, he won’t be traded until the offseason at the earliest. No idea why you would never mention Benintendi. The Sox are stuck with his sorry ass until they cut him.
  15. Yep, and I know you know this but that’s my point regarding winning next season.
  16. And who is replacing these guys? Quero, Schultz, and a struggling Montgomery and Ramos? Where is the other half of the lineup?
  17. Yep, especially after AJP just ripped the team for dumping him a couple months ago.
  18. You are hyping a 15 game stretch of a record? It’s such a small sample size that even a historically sh1t team like the Sox can still win a few games in that stretch. Let’s see their record the rest of the way with Crochet, Thorpe, and Cannon.
