  1. Waste of money for how bad the Sox will still be. Get back to us when the Sox can field a non-AAA lineup.
  2. It doesn’t make much sense if this information on his MILB options is accurate. Julks has been absolute trash this entire month of June — .189 AVG / .246 OBP / .340 SLG / .586 OPS. Play the guy who won’t be 29 years old next season.
  3. Well, tray sees one strong win and turns into greg with his overhyping of a shitty Sox team. But one thing remains the same — that radioactive fallout shelter ground at “The 78” site.
  4. Who cares if it is? I believe Julks may have an option or two left, and he’s 28 and bad anyways. Play the 25 year old and see what he can do.
  5. And finally, the funniest thing about this move is that I saw people posting that Grifol would look for any excuse to demote Colas because he hates him, but I dismissed those posts because it made absolutely zero sense to send Colas down considering the status of the roster, their record, and Colas actually hitting. Boy, was I wrong. Even the other Getz homer WestEddy can’t justify this move…
  6. That was Jerry’s favorite player and direct quote and it sure seems like Getz tried to make it happen.
  7. It wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t post every infrequent time that a starting pitcher has a good start when Oldy Moldy starts at catcher and has one of his rare 1-hit games. Harold is either the biggest Getz homer ever or he is Getz himself. Harold defended this awful signing of a rotting corpse from the start by Getz, so he can’t back down now. It’s quite embarrassing and I don’t think he realizes that he’s creating absolutely ZERO credibility for himself by continuing to defend Getz signing this corpse of a once good catcher.
  8. Haha, the Getz lover (or Getz himself) trying to justify this. Nonsensical. Period.
  9. I don’t think we know that just yet, but it would be nice to find out for sure by actually playing him while the Sox are going nowhere.
  10. Nastrini with the same issue. Neither guy walked many in the minors. Maybe just a case of not trusting their stuff in the majors?
  11. Who or what? I would say a glass of bourbon on the rocks is always connected to TLR at any given time.
  12. Pedro is here until the end of the season. He will be the fall guy for Jerry and Getz. The next hire will of course be someone cheap internally and with ties to the Sox.
  13. Agreed. This is exactly why I think it he was traded twice. Teams didn’t view him as that untouchable potential ace due to his lack of a fastball. He can obviously still be a very good starter though.
  14. A .490 winning percentage is a lot tougher than it sounds.
  15. I likely feel the same way as you about Ellis. However, it doesn’t make sense to dump younger players to retain horrible old vets with expiring contracts in a losing season. And this isn’t the first time Getz has dumped a younger player to retain garbage.
  16. https://www.boston.com/sports/boston-red-sox/2016/12/07/explaining-why-chris-sales-nickname-is-the-condor/?amp=1
  17. The Sox have done the same thing when they have actually been in competition, which is few and far between. I don’t see what the big deal is.
  18. So you don’t care about a historic loss record but you kept posting a much more trivial no shutout streak record? Yeah… Smells like ? to me.
  19. .734 OPS. I’m patiently waiting for the Yankees to trade for Sheets with Rizzo injured.
  20. Judging by his panicked frantic scrambling of the roster, Getz does.
  21. Well, the all time worst record in 162 games is still in range but you go ahead and focus on shutouts. ?
