  1. I heard he has trade value and that many teams are interested. I just thought he was a garbage pitcher with a 5+ ERA so I am pleasantly surprised.
  2. He signed Maldonado for $4.5 million to start at catcher and acquired Nicky Lopez and paid him $4.3 million to start at 2B. I don’t care if it is a tear down year or not. That should give you some pause and make you wonder about your GM’s player assessment and evaluation skills. He burned almost $10 million on two players that he won’t even be able to trade because they are so bad. Any Sox fan on this site could have told you in the offseason that these two guys would be wasted signings and money. That isn’t encouraging at all. And don’t forget trading for Fletcher. Getz values sh1t players.
  3. If Getz wants more pitching (which I hope not), they can get it done. I just hope Getz is looking for positional prospects.
  4. Nothing makes sense with this team. Older players, bad players, and players that won’t be here next season (and won’t be traded for much) have all received more playing time than Colas. Pillar Grossman Fletcher Pham Julks
  5. Pretty sure by Grandal’s reaction that he knew it was his own dumb fault.
  6. Did Colas mess up a play in the field or something? He actually started to hit.
  7. Use all the BS trade value calculators you want. Elias isn’t giving up Kjerstad for Fedde and Banks. This is laughable. Kjerstad, the #21 prospect in the MLB. Not gonna happen. Never gonna happen. Like SS2K5 said, the Sox couldn’t even get a prospect rated that high in the Cease trade.
  8. Likelihood of the Orioles making that trade? 0.1% is probably too high.
  9. Way to boost that trade value by telling everyone you crap your pants on the mound.
  10. Your posts are so full of such whiny nonsense, I am now rooting for Getz to trade everyone so I can enjoy knowing that you’ll be crying in your pillow on the night of the trade deadline.
  11. Benintendi’s wrist finally healed. It’s nothing but homers from here on out…
  12. So it’s completely negative to think that the Sox won’t be better and to the tune of a .490 winning percentage in the second half of this season once they trade away guys like Crochet, Fedde, Pham, DeJong, etc., and possibly even Robert?
  13. Which players are you referring to here? Obviously, the Sox aren’t trading away guys like Thorpe and Cannon, but unless you’ve been living under a rock, it’s obvious that Getz will be looking to deal almost everyone else. If you don’t think it’s going to happen, you are living in your own fantasy world. And once it does happen, that will likely ensure that the Sox will be just as bad after the trade deadline, if not worse.
