Undrafted free agent in 2020.
-
I don’t see Robert getting moved. The offers will be lowball since he will have to come back and perform first.
-
This guy is terrible and is no where near big league material. Man, Getz is terrible at his job.
-
I am really curious as to what JR could possibly be communicating to Grifol when the Sox are this epically bad.
-
Pham, Sheets, DeJong, all three will “require a minimal prospect return.”

Schriffen says he was aiming at “Sportscasters”
WhiteSox2023 replied to Chick Mercedes's topic in Pale Hose Talk
What makes this funnier is that Pham supposedly told Schriffen to “calm the f*** down” when he was in the locker room with the players. -
The more I read this stuff, he seems like an absolute low IQ moron.

3-year deal.

Vaughn with an even worse line than Torkelson. The Tigers option Torkelson. The Sox make up a fake injury to sit Vaughn for a few games.

Own this, Dick Allen! I know we have racked up the L’s this season but we ain’t gonna take this kind of talk from you! Hell naw, we ain’t! -

He used to care. He called out the Cubs and Piniella 14 years ago. Now he is just riding the loyal Reinsdorf employee gravy train. -

Haha, that is some funny stuff. Yes, the prior good catch will make him hit that 3-0 pitch like the one that was lobbed to The Yerminator. -

I missed that discussion unfortunately. As much as Stone is an egotistical prick, he’s starting to win me over each time he clowns Schriffen for saying stupid things. His response to Schriffen talking about playing the hot teams at the wrong time was hilarious. -

It is what it is. Pham being moved to a contender makes sense for him, the acquiring team, and the Sox. Whether the prospect the Sox acquire for Pham pans out or not, who knows. But keeping a 36 year old signed to a one-year deal on this team would make zero sense. -

Pham is 36 years old. He will be traded by the deadline. -

He’s quite the angry bitter old man. I picture him and tray as neighbors on their porches yelling at the kids that ride their bikes too close to their lawns. -

So basically Pham is saying that Contreras shouldn’t have talked any smack on that play because it was obvious that he would be thrown out at the plate because our third base coach made a terrible call sending him home. Sounds about right. ? -

An article about ex-Cubs and current Cardinals player Willson Contreras from 2020 that had nothing today with today’s game. A big bat flip, huh? Did you get this angry when Tim Anderson and Yasmani Grandal used to flip their bats after home runs and call them out for their classlessness? -

You were told by numerous posters that this team was terrible in the offseason. You argued and seemed to think the Sox were better than their record was indicating during what you called a small sample size of games earlier in the season. The Sox then won a few games in a row but the same posters knew it was just a matter of time before they would start losing again. Meanwhile, you tried to use this even smaller sample size of winning to claim the Sox weren’t historically bad. It was every bit as misguided as you noting their shutout count improving more recently as some sort of sign of something (no one has a clue). Well, the Sox now have a .250 winning percentage after playing 37% of their games, which is definitely a large enough sample size. They are on pace for a 40-122 record. The Sox are historically bad. Further, no amount of brawling on the field is going to make this suck fest of a team that Getz built start winning. First and foremost, they need to replace most of the garbage players that Getz acquired this past offseason with good players. They need to get a manager with a clue. A new owner and GM would be number one on the list but we all know that isn’t happening. However, these are the ways this historically bad team may start winning some games. Not from getting their asses whooped in a stupid on-the-field brawl like Tim Anderson versus Jose Ramirez. -
He has been DFA twice by the Sox this year and outrighted to Charlotte. No team wants the guy but the Sox.
