  1. Wrong Contreras. ? You truly are a meatball. Let me guess, you also frequently call into The Score?
  2. Yep, he has many of his sliders tailing right into the middle of the plate.
  3. “Cubs optioned INF Nick Madrigal to Triple-A Iowa. Madrigal, 27, will head back to Triple-A with David Bote taking his place on the roster. The former top prospect has once again not been effective at the plate with a .221/.280/.256 slash line in 94 plate appearances thus far.“
  4. Yep, a strategy of suck. A strategy employed to deceive and appease Sox fans.
  5. Would not be a surprise at all.
  6. Who cares. I don’t feel sorry for them. If they feel that way they can look for an opening with 29 other teams that aren’t run by the worst owner in professional sports. You are lying to yourself if you don’t think these people know what they are getting into by accepting a job with one of Jerry’s teams.
  7. As long as he’s making his own profit, he doesn’t care.
  8. No. Jerry makes a profit and simply talks to the media as little as possible to avoid fan hatred and any potential tough questions.
  9. JR is riding the Grifol hate until the end of the season to protect himself and Getz. It is so damn obvious that Grifol will be the fall guy for this season, to take the pressure off of Jerry and Getz. This is quite simply evil JR’s maniacal plan and he already telegraphed this move with the firing of Hahn and Kenny last year. Once Grifol is fired in the offseason, the Sox will sell Getz’s new manager hire as a huge deal that will be rid of the Hahn taint since Grifol wasn’t his choice. And it will be a bunch of BS and the Sox will suck next season as well.
  10. I hope he enjoys his fat stogie while watching the utter piece of s%*# team his great hire Chris Getz built for him.
  11. The Sox currently have zero offense and have zero guaranteed stud MLB position players/hitters in the minors.
  12. Joey Votto is probably more likely to be signed by the Sox than Vlad Jr.
  13. Anyone else think it’s a bit funny that Joey Ortiz would be our best hitter?
  14. Liberal media is trying to brainwash you. Read the quotes and interpret them as you would without looking at the title of the article. And remember that she is a popular athlete as well.
  15. Well, Getz can now sign an outfielder just as bad as both Benintendi and Fletcher for the minimum, as Victor Robles was officially released.
  16. Considering he said one of his favorite players of all time is David Eckstein, most likely not. He probably thinks Hawk’s The Will To Win (TWTW) is the most important player attribute in baseball, and it conveniently matches his lack of desire to spend on top players in free agency perfectly. A match made in heaven.
  17. Oh how fun it is to watch Bryce Harper hit a second upper deck homer for the Phillies. A guy who the Sox could’ve easily signed. Instead, the Sox waste $25 million each offseason overpaying a collection of veteran rejects that no other teams want.
  18. The stink has never left. It still permeates the entire organization. Getz is still a part of the problem. He had a terrible offseason and made some really dumb trades of young talent, which is exactly what the Sox should be hoarding, not trading away. This veteran leadership and defense idea that Getz had has been an absolute bust. How can anyone have faith in this guy as a GM when he thought players like DeJong, Lopez, and Maldonado were worth acquiring, paying $10.5 million combined for this year, and using as starters rather than bench players?!? These are guys that should have been signed to minor league deals due to how absolutely awful they were last year. I guess Getz enjoys giving players like Maldonado a nice final paycheck when he should’ve retired a year ago. It’s not going to happen, but Getz should be shown the door along with Grifol, but it’s pretty obvious that JR is going to fire Grifol at the end of the season and make him the fall guy, just like he did with Hahn and Kenny at the end of last season. It’s the same ol’ Sox. Nothing changes until JR is gone.
  19. One side seems correct in their assessment at this point.
  20. Shows how bad the Sox scouting still is. Likely poor assessments on both players and they don’t even have confidence in their own decision to make this trade to actually play Fletcher and see what he can do.
  21. This has turned into such an awful trade. If Mena was putting up the same minor league season with the Sox as he is with the D-backs, he could’ve been traded for someone actually good. Or the Sox could’ve kept him and to see if he could become a back of the rotation starter earning nothing. Brutal.
