  1. Just one team would offer two top 100 prospects? I find that hard to believe. If you said two top 50 prospects, I could get onboard with that.
  2. Great post… Embarrassing. Manfraud recycled an idea from some radio tool that he initially said was a waste of time.
  3. “Your Chicago White Sox… serving you up a big s%*# sandwich and telling you it’s great for years!”
  4. Haha, I know you already said as much but trading Burger for Eder and then Eder for Rice is so very White Sox.
  5. Exactly, and I will never understand this concept other than the belief that facing a bunch of lefties in a row gets an opponent “used to” facing lefties so they hit better against them. Regardless of the handedness of the rest of your rotation, would you rather have Crochet as a member of your rotation or what would more than likely be a less talented right-hander?
  6. Mayo had 46 plate appearances last year. Vargas had 237 plate appearances last year with the Dodgers and the Sox, and 591 in his career to show he’s bad.
  7. White Sox signed INF Nick Maton to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training. Getzy is on a roll.
  8. Who would the Sox go-to “Golden at bat” hitter even be once Luis Robert is traded? Imagine Andrew Vaughn getting even more at bats in key situations?
  9. This is so lame and gimmicky. Let’s not turn baseball into a cross between American Gladiators and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
  10. Why not? Eder is a just a throw-in. He’s terrible with a career minor league ERA over 5. Meanwhile, the Sox would be getting back a top MLB CF prospect for Robert. The only ones not accepting that deal are the Yankees.
  11. Good question. The Sox have just as much of a problem “cleaning house” as the Bears do and it usually screws over both teams.
  12. This was the proposed trade and I would’ve accepted it yesterday…
  13. We already know it will mostly be a losing fate. Getz won’t be signing anyone of note.
  14. I’m hoping this response and the thread title are sarcasm.
  15. They will be running $50 million payrolls until Jerry meets his maker.
  16. Yes, it is. But it just goes to show that what we as Sox fans think is a horrible bloated contract is absolute jack sh1t to a real contending team like the Dodgers. A bad deal to the Dodgers means nothing. Jerry is a bum and needs to go the way of the dinosaurs.
  17. The Dodgers also just extended Tommy Edman to the same money the Sox gave Benintendi. Sh1t money to the Dodgers. Highest contract ever to the Sox. LOL.
  18. Don’t get your hopes up. Rather than wait to see potential DFA targets, Getz jumped the gun on a worse Austin already because he was his “number one target”. The better Austin will be signing with a better team that has a wiser GM.
  19. Hah, Chicagoans take it for granted. They are all around here and throughout Illinois.
  20. Bohm’s value might be high enough after his past two seasons of production and with two seasons remaining, that it might not be worth the risk of seeing if he performs even better with the Sox and just flip him immediately. The idea of another NL player coming to the Sox and forgetting how to hit frightens me. But I agree with your second paragraph and that if the Phillies had any notion of Bohm being a headliner or second piece to a Crochet offer, they are nuts.
  21. I love how Eberflus just said he’d be coaching the next game against the 49’ers. 🤣 Like I said after the game, no coach should survive with his job after running out of time in a game with a timeout left. Poles should absolutely be on the hot seat now for not even entertaining the idea of Harbaugh.
  22. Here’s the full article… https://www.mlb.com/news/garrett-crochet-rumors What don’t you like about Mayo?
