  1. Schriffen still talking about how gingerly Eloy is running to first base. Get rid of this walking injury.
  2. He doesn’t have to be perfect but he really has to limit those terrible meatballs that end up right in the hitter’s wheelhouse.
  3. It’s a message board about the Sox. WE calls me a moron and I don’t care. Personally, I think Getz is a terrible GM and while WE may fluff up bums like Sheets and Julks, I think they will be out of baseball in a couple years. You also seem to get upset that not everyone thinks that Getz is doing a good job and you make excuses for him. Reinsdorf specifically chose him because he said he wouldn’t need a full season to assess the team. Obviously that was a load of BS but Getz has made some weird and stupid decisions that to me, outweigh his good ones.
  4. He needs to do more than that. Let’s see a .280/.900 line with 20 homers by the deadline and he’ll be moved.
  5. At least “YEAH BUDDY!” lives another day.
  6. I don’t agree with simply calling up everyone. Getz did it with Ramos and obviously he wasn’t ready. At some point it will have to happen though. There is zero point in continuing to play Mendick for example. But my point was that you try to polish every turd that Getz serves up to us as having some redeeming quality, when that is rarely the case. Sheets has little to no value and Julks is a fourth outfielder at best. No one even wants Zavala.
  7. I’d probably do it, haha. At least we would finally have one superstar player that we either keep missing out on or that is always injured (see Tatis Jr., Harper, Robert).
  8. No one would argue Crochet being undeserving of the All-Star team, but nice hyperbole. Aren’t you the same poster that was touting the great development of Sheets and was also slotting in Julks as a starting corner outfielder next year because of a couple hot streaks just a few weeks ago? Maybe the Sox can also reacquire one of their most amazing developed players — Seby Zavala. The Mariners have DFA him twice in the past few weeks and he accepted both outrights to the minors because he is such a valuable and desirable player.
  9. I don’t think these guys are bad, just not necessarily ready. I realize it’s a unique situation cuz of the double header but Eder gets the call after a 9.00 ERA with 5 homers surrendered in his last 3 starts. Getz gonna Getz.
  10. The ironic thing is that Nardi doesn’t have to look any further than the guy on the mound for the Sox for yet another example of a pitcher who may not be ready.
  11. I don’t think this is a crazy ask and I would think Orioles fans would be all over it. Perhaps the Sox can actually do better from some other team?
  12. Your first post said more than a year away and now it’s two years away? Which is it? Actually, nevermind, I don’t care. In case you haven’t noticed by this entire season of transactions, you don’t actually have to earn a call up to receive one from Getz, lol.
  13. Not me. 2.99 ERA and he’s probably still not good enough for Orioles fans.
  14. Yeah, it’s probably just because Getz ran out of bullpen studs like Keller, Woodford, Anderson, and Kuhl to call up.
  15. He got called up with an ERA over 5 and a WHIP over 1.5 by a spaz GM who calls up anyone and everyone. Doesn’t mean he is ready. Do you remember the Ramos call up from AA?
  16. Well, to be fair, Grifol said that Eder is a big part of the future. He didn’t say that he was. ?
  17. 1st and 2nd round pick first basemen respectively are currently .700 OPS guys? That’s more like failure.
  18. Wait a second, aren’t you the same poster that always defends and still feels sorry for Tim Anderson? He was the clown prince of all these things that annoy you, yet you still defend Anderson anytime he is brought up. Who knows? Maybe Carl Everett could have also gotten Tim Anderson to focus on his baseball game, rather than honing his no pullout game on Instagram whores?
  19. Another dumpster diving piece for Getz’s shitpen.
  20. Moncada would still be owed almost $8 million for the remainder of the season if traded on the day of the deadline (July 30th), along with being owed his $5 million dollar buyout. Unless Jerry is picking up a lot of that money, I don’t see teams jumping to pick up one of the most injury-prone players in baseball, that isn’t even that great of a hitter when healthy.
