  1. I have no idea what he passed on, and neither do you. Once again, what deadline starting pitcher trade are you comparing Crochet to, because no starter as good as him, as cheap as him, and with as many years of control as him was traded at the deadline. ???
  2. What pitcher the quality of Crochet along with a cheap ass contract for 2.5 more seasons was moved at the deadline? Oh yeah…
  3. He’s trash. I’ll still take the Twins prospect that needs TJ surgery over Vargas.
  4. That’s why Getz should have traded him. He started breaking down after the deadline.
  5. A random Sox fan could do better than anyone employed in the Sox front office by sheer luck.
  6. The Orioles are a much much smarter and better org than the Sox. It’s like night and day. How many years of bad defense in LF, injuries, and months on the IL did it take the Sox to realize Eloy was a DH?
  7. I don’t agree on Robert. The time to trade him was last year’s trade deadline, but that is using some hindsight. He still has time to go off at the start of next season… hopefully. I agree that Crochet should have been traded, even with his extension demand that didn’t help things. Now, with Crochet apparently hitting the wall at 120 innings, it might scare off some teams next offseason, but some team will still bite on him.
  8. True, what a dumbass. He could have been traded to a contender like the Dodgers, and they probably would’ve given him the extension he wanted if he didn’t demand one. Afterall, they gave one to Mr. Glass-Now.
  9. LOL, it is a bit weird. It’s like sitting at a circular table and facing away from the speaker.
  10. You still don’t give one of the absolute worst hitters in baseball the most at bats.
  11. So this is the same guy who would mercilessly rip Sox fans on Twitter that dared to question the team over the past few years?
  12. This kid hit the cover off the ball, even with elbow issues? Makes me want him even more, and the TJ surgery just ensures that he matches the Sox timeline to competitiveness better, since next year and likely more seasons will be a losing effort. If Vargas even pans out, how many years of control will the Sox have left on him by the time they are able to surround him without enough talent for the team to win?
  13. Never, as long as those shakes keep bringing in da moneys!
  14. Maybe we can give Getz more credit once he trades the rest of his flip candidates… Brebbia Flexen Lopez Sheets Oops…
  15. I knew Getz had three children. I just didn’t know one of them posted in this message board.
