  1. The Fedde signing, starting Crochet, the Grossman trade, and the Eloy trade. That’s all I’ve got. But the return on the Fedde trade and Getz supposedly being unwilling to trade him within the division to the Twins for one of their top prospects puts a downer on the entire Fedde acquisition.
  2. Don’t forget about his predecessor.
  3. Vargas looks like he would have no problem being a bench player with the Dodgers. ?
  4. How sad is it that he either doesn’t realize or doesn’t care that him breaking out would help him get moved away from this absolute sh1t show and likely to a good team?
  5. The one on the left said that she is a “taller, less informed version of Ken Rosenthal.” Ruthless, haha.
  6. Unfortunately, they didn’t get rid of Getz for good with this trade.
  7. He’s still upset over the Maldonado DFA. Poor guy…
  8. You don’t eith… I mean your boy Getz doesn’t either.
  9. I don’t see any details on a location. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets cancelled.
  10. As bad as the A’s are they are 19 wins better than the Sox. And did you forget about the long history of the Sox west coast woes? The horrors at the Coliseum?
  11. You know Getz is salivating at the thought of picking up this guy…
  12. The Marlins received Norby and Stowers for a worse pitcher than Fedde. That’s a bit frustrating.
  13. And we thought Hawk was a homer…
  14. JR must have missed the memo on the draft changes and that teams are no longer trading away their top prospects for top trade deadline and offseason targets. Sadly, the best chance the Sox had was during their first failed rebuild.
  15. It’s not hard to fathom. @fathom has been all over this guy as being a poor GM for awhile now. ?
  16. Sorry, I didn’t mean you directly. I just meant some people in general. You seem to be fair and balanced in your critique.
  17. That’s the true way to make money. Not by building a good team that sells itself and that people will automatically come to see, but an overloaded call center of solicitors selling a crappy product. It’s like being sold on a time share. Who doesn’t love that?!?
  18. The White Sox plan to promote Ky Bush from Triple-A Charlotte to start against the Athletics on Monday. It will be the MLB debut for the 24-year-old southpaw who was acquired from the Angels in the Lucas Giolito trade. Bush has really struggled in four outings (two starts) since getting promoted to Triple-A Charlotte on July 1 — posting a 6.16 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 16/10 K/BB ratio over 19 innings — making the timing of the promotion a bit interesting. He’ll see if he can stop the White Sox’ 20-game losing streak when he takes the mound on Monday night.
  19. Yep, I was just hoping he would pitch as well as he did for the Padres and the Sox could flip him immediately with his multiple years of control. Everything went to crap except for Crochet and Fedde.
  20. He must be talking about a different dimension in the multiverse than ours.
