Those are not attractive offers to me. And I'm sure some of it is trying to take advantage of Getz, but I'm guessing most of it is innings limit and lack of history of being able to do this.
Sure it's still a talent issue, but it was a talent issue WITH guys just going through the motions and lifeless. Made it far worse than it needed to be.
I think if they win at a more "regular" (not over .500 or anything) clip and play with some actual passion and aggressiveness maybe they'd keep him around. I know Getz said what they are looking for, but I guess that could always change.
