He doesn't want to skip starts, and already had a shorter outing, and then the ASB. And some people seem to think the shorter outing before ASB pissed him off.

If teams are moving on it’s because they aren’t giving a forced extension to a guy who has been a starter for four months. Not everything needs to fit into this one narrative.
