He is way more efficient than Cease. Cease would be at 100 pitches through five regularly whereas Crochet is throwing 6-7 innings on more restrictive pitch counts. I’d say he is actually proficiently better than Cease, although Cease’s reliability obviously has a lot of value

I don’t see teams giving up as much as people are mentioning for a player as injury prone as Robert. Robert would be lucky just to make it to the trade deadline in the first place.

Yeah but the reason players shouldn’t bet on baseball is the same reason the league shouldn’t be partnered with baseball gambling operations. MLB in effect was taking over/under bets on games where they were employing different baseballs. That is vastly more scandalous than a player betting, yet here they are issuing lifetime bans for the same thing the league is guilty of
