  1. Kopech, Cousins, Chavez, Cronin, and Hill seem to be doing pretty decent as relievers since they left…
  2. Peralta is a AAAA player. Anyone with a brain knows that. The White Sox FO on the other hand…
  3. At least we know that whatever supreme being May exist…also fucking hates Jerry Reinsdorf. I’m sorry, but that s%*# is hilarious.
  4. They aren’t cursed. You reap what you sow. This is the opposite of being a great team with a bullseye on your back. Every team is so embarrassed to lose to this complete dumpster fire that they elevate their game to beat these assholes.
  5. Why the f*** are they playing no doubles depth in a tie game with two runners on in the 9th inning. This is like fucking little league s%*#.
  6. I’m not gonna lie. I love this at this point. I’m not going to waste my time watching and won’t spend a dime on this team but I get excited to log into Gameday every few innings and see how they manage to blow it.
  7. Sizemore seems like a decent dude but…I’m mildly happy that the team is still doing so poorly that it forces the Sox to do at least some sort of search. I was very afraid that Sizemore would do halfway ok and would be hired without any external search or interview process.
  8. Don’t forget Kopech has a 0.73 ERA and .486 WHIP with the Dodgers so far and was essentially traded for nothing since the 3 team deal included Fedde and Pham.
  9. I’m just saying…it’s the first time it’s…ever happened. Not surprising that it happens in a game hosted by the most dysfunctional organization in the league.
  10. They may have largely come “out of nowhere” but 4 pitches is insane incompetence. You’re telling me they didn’t have 2’ of warning? That doesn’t seem entirely plausible. There’s a reason it’s the first game in league history suspended before a single out.
  11. Of the 9 relievers that started the season, exactly zero are currently in the 26 man roster. This organization from top to bottom simple cannot adequately evaluate players.
  12. Just wait until they decline the club option on Moncada but then sign him to the “cheap” one year deal because of his injury history and…the fact that he doesn’t seem to even want to actually play baseball 🤣
  13. I’d be zero percent surprised if they try to do this. I highly question whether the guy even wants to play baseball anymore, but when he’s in the lineup…he’s probably their second best player right? I mean…they’re paying Nicky Lopez $4m, I could easily see them trying to sign Moncada to a 1y deal for like $6-8m. He probably won’t play more than 20 games, but do we trust that the Sox FO is actually intelligent enough to consider that?
  14. 100%. Let’s be honest…Getz has had a lot of bad moves, but signing a known piece of s%*# that zero other MLB teams had an interest in because…he was a known piece of s%*# and then having multiple people talk about his “clubhouse presence” calling him a “good teammate” and mentioning “character.” It’s disgusting. Has a media member ever actually asked a serious question about the handling of the Omar Vizquel and Wes Helms situation?
  15. The ex girlfriend was on Twitter today dragging him about drug use. He’ll never play another inning in MLB for the rest of his life. Probably the worst acquisition in Getz’ first year although the fact you can preface that statement with “probably” shows how incompetent and overwhelmed Getz has been thus far.
  16. Except they’ve consistently played shorthanded when they refuse to IL guys so what’s the point of making Ramos sit in the dugout for a day? The over-arching concern is that Getz seemingly can’t plan more than a day or 2 in advance.
  17. If they don’t win this one, another 10+ game losing streak is looming which…is exactly what I’m hoping for.
  18. Eloy is the personification of the issue with the White Sox roster construction. Cant play defense and is an ok-ish hitter but certainly not a good enough bat to justify as a DH. AV and Sheets are both the same. Their offensive numbers would Be mildly palatable if they could effectively play a position. But as a DH? Hell no.
  19. I mean they barely have any player with an OPS over .700. The entire roster is comically bad. I know some players don’t respond terribly well to coaching but, as an example, Luis Robert’s approach at the plate is coaching malfeasance. The entire league knows to throw him sliders down and away outside of the zone and he just keeps swinging at them.
  20. He certainly hasn’t been great (and again small sample size) but his BA is up 60 pts, OBP, SLG, OPS, OPS+ all up. Still no HR but double rate and RBI are up. He’s still not hitting well enough to justify not being able to play a position defensively but there’s no argument that he has improved fairly significantly since the trade.
  21. I can’t wait until Moncada goes to a real franchise and has a Michael Kopech level resurgence because someone holds him accountable. Small sample size but…look at Eloys stats with Baltimore so far compared to this season with the Sox.
