  1. Wont Haeger have trouble throwing the knuckler in Arizona. My guess is Floyd gets the spot. But who knows.
  2. I think Barbaro would have done it. The pace was very slow. We will never know now though. Just hope they can save him that would be awful to go from Triple Crown contender to being put to rest in just minutes.
  3. 3 games into the season and were already saying Paulies in a slump. Good Grief he crushed one to centerfield that got held up by the wind. Relax people there are still 159 games to play,
  4. Does anybody know what that music is from the banner montage? That gave me chills listening to that music and watching the video.
  5. Notice they said "Pending a physical evaluation". How often do they do that for coaches. I think he would have been a top candidate for the Indiana job if he didnt have health problems. He may not last long in the hot Arizona dessert.
  6. 2 time coach of the year. Good defense and rebounding coach ( Which were IUs biggest problems with Davis). Heck of a recruiter I believe had a top 10 class coming in. Sampson may be just what the doctor ordered. They may have to go JUCO at least this year if DJ leaves but hopefully he can convince him to stay and get Arthur.
  7. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 22, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) And now the Fox station in Indy had an exclusive saying that IU was talking money and contract length with Mark Few. How can that be possible? Gonzaga is still playing. That would have to involve some serious tampering issues.
  8. Doyel is obviously clueless from this article. Where did he get the idea Indiana is using an outside consulting firm. Maybe Mizzou is but I can guarantee you IU isnt. Greenspan is the one and only guy searching for the head coach at IU not some outside consulting firm.
  9. Im not aboz but heres a Gillespie rumor from doyel on CBS sportsline. Ready for a whopper?
  10. Im gonna go out on a limb and say history is made today. Oral Roberts over Memphis. Its gotta happen sometime.
  11. QUOTE(DABearSoX @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) HA, Cy young winning 5th starter...now that would be nuts Loaiza almost did it.
  12. Ole Miss would seem like a logical place for Davis as well with their coach just resigning. Hes probably gonna get some good offers especially if they have a nice run in the tourney. I just hope he doesnt take DJ White and Vaden with him.
  13. Montgomery would probably bring Smart along with him too. Which would be an added bonus. I would be estatic if IU got him.
  14. I didnt realize we had Clayton Richard. Didnt he play QB for Michigan. What kind of prospect is he.
  15. My favorite is Crean too. Crean is a former Izzo assistant so he does know the big ten. If you like Izzo you will probably like Crean.
  16. How about bringing Mike Montgomery and Keith Smart to IU. With Smart being the eventual replacement for Montgomery. A darkhorse guy that intrigues me is Darrin Horn from Western Kentucky. He has recruited Indiana and is young and has done a pretty good job rebuilding Western Kentucky.
  17. Im going to agree with greasy that Alford would not be the best choice. Majerus, Calipari, Few, or Pearl are just a few of the many coaches out there who are better choices than Alford. The only reason he gets mentioned is because he is one of the greatest players in IU bball history.
  18. The phils could give us Rowand, Haigwood, and Gio back.
  19. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 05:19 PM) IU just won on an off the ball foul with 5.7 to go. What a joke, that team is trash. Chuck up some more 3s and lose to Indiana St. again you clowns. This IU team is going to have some horrid losses this year the way they refuse to run an offense. #1 shooting team in the country. Two of the best big men in the big ten. I think someones jealous.
  20. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Dec 29, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) Ouch, un-good. Believe me, Ive had kidney stones removed. It is no fun.
  21. QUOTE(Ozzie Montana @ Dec 29, 2005 -> 04:01 PM) Very True. Yeah I remember everybody going crazy here because we gave up "the greatest catcher of all time" in Olivo.
  22. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 27, 2005 -> 09:07 AM) Willie sounds like a great player, in the way they talk him up in that article. He would be a great player on the AAAA Rockies.
  23. I think Phil needs to lay off the egg nog. No way in the world that trade would happen. The Sox would be giving up way too much for Bedard and a mediocre pitcher in Ohmen.
  24. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Dec 20, 2005 -> 10:30 AM) And Timo will always be remembered for some clutch hitting and Hawk freakin' out as Timo ran the bases. Come on Timo!Come on Timo!Come on Timo. One of Hawks classic calls. Im pissed why are we letting two future hall of famers go for nothing.
