I will have to hear something from a more proven source before really getting excited about anything but that sox have been wanting this guy for sometime now and the way they do things all undercover and s*** him signing wouldnt shock me. -
Anyone how long ago he had his arm injury??? That being said I still think he has the chance to be a solid pick up for us I like his stuff and if he's healthy he has a chance to be pretty good.

I really Like Mags alot.... since he came up in 98 but I have to admit trading him and his large contract and bringing Juan Gonzalez in I would really like to see what he could do here. Another thing he would cost like 9 million less atleast and I think put up better numbers somewhere in the area of .314- .325 avg, 35-45 HR, 115-140 RBI's for 5 million I would love it.

Honestly If we trade Mags look for the sox to make a very fast move on Juan Gone and get him signed very shortly after the trade. This may be another reason the trade is taking a little longer then we would like. ( sox's making sure they have a deal in place with Juan before pulling the trigger on the Mags trade )

Even better news though is that it takes away another trade partner for the Dodgers. Raising our chances of pulling off the Kong for Perez deal. Surprised nobody has thought of it from that aspect.

Weathers hasn't been bad at all the last 3 years era in the 3's one year and the 2's the other two years I would take a look at it. Although I do think Koch will be fine this year.

You joking right your gonna tell me that Maddux winning 10 games is a stretch?!?!? With our Fire power Maddux would win 18 4-sure he has had one bad year for him which is still a pretty good year for your average pitcher.

I would love to see the sox get Maddux I think he would be a great fit on the team. Honestly I think he is better then colon even at his age he would be good for 18 wins easy
