I was going to start one, but was waiting on Brian since he'd been good luck starting the last few. -

Yeah, I was just using Rivals. Sporting News has him #3. Obviously it's all subjective. I actually find it kind of funny the big deal ESPN made over this kid, broadcasting his decision live, etc. I guess Old JoePa can still do a little bit out there. -

#1 HS Recruit, Derrick Williams selects PSU, giving them two top-10 guys... pretty good for a team that had 4 wins. Michigan, OSU, Purdue, Iowa and now PSU with awesome recruiting classes this year. -
OT, but I remember being 9 or 10 and seeing the Globetrotters at the Horizon and "Pippen" was a vendor at the game. The Trotters spent half the game trying to get him on the court to play with them. Pippen and the Miller Lite guy with the scratchy voice are the best.

Deng's definitely making a lot of the local media eat their words from draft day. -

Ha, I was just about to post the same thing. -

They'd have to choke Cubs style, considering Andrew Walter is out for ASU.

I don't think any of those could be considered upsets, unless Pitt beats Utah. As far as the spread goes, I think VT can beat the 6.5 Auburn is giving them. Most of those games feature closely matched teams, including UM and UT. I could see Iowa beating LSU.

Yeah, HKS did the Cell renovations.

I like that design a lot. I've only been there 3 times, but I've always liked Conseco, which the brick reminds me of. Isn't HKS the company that did the redesigns at the Cell?

cool, thanks for the info

I think they could use the cold to their advantage, considering their division, but my friend (Colt fan) argues that: 1. The fanbase isn't loyal enough to sit in the rain and cold 2. If the RCA dome was torn down, they'd have to honor their contract with the NCAA (The city that is)... don't know much about the contract 3. The team isn't built well for the snow (which I think is a weak argument)

That article mentions the new stadium deal, which is supposed to be announced before the game tonight. Retractable-roof... :rolly

That's what I did too and then went back to the 3 I was interested in during the fall to see the campus in session.

I think my JR year is when I really started to get a ton of stuff in the mail. Part of which was due to the college and career center at my H.S. giving out info to the Universities. Like soxnbears said, the university websites should have a information request form.

Yeah, as far as I can tell he's going to get a scholarship. I know for sure that he still has 5 years to play 4 for Purdue. I'm interested to see if he lives up to the hype. -
Even Marriotti threw out some great alternatives in Keyshawn and Sapp. He might not have the huge numbers the media wants him to, but Urlacher still makes a difference in the Bears D by just being on the field.

Mackowiak would be a great sign, simply b/c you know the local media would show him beating the Cubs over and over again, especially that double-header.

So what was supposed to be a "fill in a few gaps" recruiting season has turned into one of the best under Joe Tiller. Besides 5 star recruit Kyle Williams, Purdue's added three 4/5 star (depending where you look) recruits in the last 2 weeks. Top 5 WR - Selwyn Lymon Top 10 DE - J.B. Paxon - (was between Purdue and Tenn., commited Friday night) Top 15 OL - Jason Kacinko - (surprise recruit from PA that everyone thought for sure was going to Wisky) It's great to see how well Tiller and his staff has done, despite having many of these guys visit during the stretch where Purdue choked big time. Oh and Greasy, I think that's a great pick by IU as coach. Hoeppner should help out the program greatly. -
For me it'll probably depend on what team he ends up on. If it's a team I already hate, I'll boo for sure, otherwise I'll probably be indifferent.
