  1. Congrats and don't let Shuf's unwarrented bias sway you.
  2. :rolly :rolly :rolly You are such a homer it's not even funny. Mizzou's J-school is top notch, most people are going to go there over KU. There are a ton of very good looking girls here also and Columbia is an awesome town. I'm sure Lawrence is a great town, but your blanket statements about MU are ridiculous. Take off your blinders for a second man. You take the this rivalry thing a little too far sometimes. EDIT: MU gives you access to KC and StL, for going out and when graduation rolls around.
  3. Purdue University - Business Management major (Class of '04) University of Missouri Law School (Class of '07)
  4. people keep saying the same s***... and Purdue keeps rolling so you won't be happy til Purdue plays OSU? sounds like someone's a little pissed their team is losing
  5. 41-16 Purdue but I'm sure you guys have some excuses...
  6. There is no match for Peyton, everyone knows that... Orton will have to prove himself against the big dogs of the Big-10 He Gawn, look at his numbers so far today and tell me why he isn't "what he's hyped up to be". Also, EVERYONE at Purdue, including Tiller thinks Orton >>>> Brees, taller w/stronger arm, and smarter on the field.
  7. you didn't read the SI article saying the same thing did you??? the amount of audibles he calls is amazing Purdue needs a big stop to start the half
  8. don't know if this is right, but it's all i could find: http://www.all-baseball.com/ref/tie.html So LA and SF would play, with the winner being the West Champion, and Houston would we the Wild Card. At least that's how I'm reading this.
  9. A little more on the Purdue Blocked-Punt, not fumble from the USA Today, today:
  10. is it time to start discussing draft picks?
  11. I'm guessing ND will be favored. and based on yesterday, I'm not too excited for the game.
  12. Dude, read the last line, he's not a Purdue fan, he's a ND fan. Get your s*** straight before you start ranting about kool-aid. You can b**** all you want, I agreed that the play should have been reviewed. As U of I fans have said, a loss is a loss... and a win is a win. If Purdue's D comes out the same way vs. ND, they're in trouble, if not, yesterday will prove to have been just a very, very bad day. Other than one person on here, nobody else said the D was dominant. In fact, most analysts said that was still the question mark for the team. Hell, 8 guys from last year's D are in the NFL now. Like I've said, if I were a U of I fan, I'd be happy with the way the team played, much better than last year. You on the other hand seem more concerned with Purdue.
  13. They were horrible yesterday, thankfully Orton and Stubblefield tore it up. In a way I'm glad the D got exposed yesterday. Hopefully they'll be able to make some adjustments so Walker doesn't run all over them next week in South Bend. If anything, the Purdue/Illinois game proved the Big Ten is definitely up for grabs.
  14. I honestly thought they would break out the instant replay for that. I don't think you can say Illinois 'pissed the game away'. They stuck with Purdue the whole game and at no point did they have control of the game, allowing them to piss it away. The punt play is definitely questionable, but overall, if I were an Illinois fan I'd be pleased with what they showed in this game, and not pissed that they didn't pull it out.
  15. good game by U of I, they should find some wins in the Big 10 for sure this year i only hope the Purdue D that showed up today isn't the same that shows up next week against Darius Walker and ND
  16. Yup, that's the plan. I was just looking forward to crashing on the couch here, but this will do.
  17. I'm off to a bar to do the same. ESPN says the Purdue/U of I game is being picked up regionally in both StL and KC, which would make me think we here in Columbia would get it... not the case. I hate being transplanted from any of my teams.
  18. I don't know... the 2nd/3rd string defenses have only given up 7 points in just over 3 quarters of work
  19. Want: Cards, Think: Red Sox It'd be great to see the Cards win now that I'm down in Card Country, especially b/c there's a couple big Cubs fans I go to law school with... plus it'd make my roommates much easier to live with.
  20. I think they'll score some points, but I think they'll give up a ton more. 48-10
  21. I'd agree with this for the most part, although the D is playing better than most expected, even against two crappy teams
