QUOTE(danman31 @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 06:34 PM) Can we start the Northwestern Big Ten title talks? Mizzou beat Nebraska 41-24 and even though the Huskers aren't ranked, we're Mizzou and we rushed the field. It was awesome. We carried the FG posts all the way downtown, it was awesome. Check rushing the field, kissing the 50 yard line, and touching a FG post off my list of things to do in my lifetime. I didn't see any of the game, but did catch the box score.... absolutely ridiculous numbers by Brad Smith -

QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 10:21 PM) They couldn't start their coverage of the game until FOX coverage was done, which it wasn't. That and I'm sure they had to get their stuff together up in left field so they could broadcast live. -

QUOTE(danman31 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 03:34 PM) The Cats beat Purdue 34-29! As a NW fan I would be dissapointed that they only won by 5... Purdue's setting themselves up for a serious beatdown by the Hoosiers -

The Matt Painter era begins with what should be another horrible Purdue squad. -

QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 09:50 PM) I got money on Purdue losing. They arnt as good as advertised. I'll be the first one to admit their no where near the #10 team in the country. It's going to be a season of very close games...again. -

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 04:21 PM) Minnesota -3.5 vs. (11) Purdue Um... WTF?!?! I pounded Minnesota at the window the last couple of weeks, but they're playing real competition now. #1 Rushing Offense vs. #1 Rushing Defense Should be a tight game. Purdue hasn't proven anything yet and with my luck lately, they'll lose since I'm going. -
Vikings new stadium plan

I just hope the baseball stadium finally goes through. Going to baseball games in the dome is depressing. This Saturday will be my first football game there. Blaine does seem like a pretty good choice. A ton of space and not too far from the cities. -
QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) um.....this is a white sox board. kinda something more important on. It's sitting on the Tivo of course.

Just got back from the dome. There were a decent amount of Sox fans there. We were sitting 2 rows behind the Sox bullpen. Man Soo was super chatty all game, like usual. Marte tossed me the ball he was warming up with in the 9th, which was the highlight of the night. Hopefully we can put together a few hits tomorrow. I'd like to turn around my 0-3 record at Twins games this year. -
I'll be in the dome Tues-Thurs this week and probably the Sept. games too.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 7, 2005 -> 08:18 PM) Bernard! (I'll always pull for him; despite his university choices) Also, is what I'm hearing about Lymon not being able to play this year now true? Yup, Lymon is ineligible, but has decided to stay at Purdue. He would have had to fight for PT anyway with Bryant, Ingraham and Williams all back. He'd be a nice addition to someone's intramural team this fall though. -

QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Aug 6, 2005 -> 03:51 PM) look out for purdue as a darkhouse in the big 10 It'll be interesting. Biggest question mark is QB - Kirsch has A LOT to prove, on and off the field. Tiller's decision to throw the option into the offense should help since Kirsch has just an average arm. Carpenter may get a few snaps since he has the stronger arm and the WR core is pretty damn good. On the bright side, the defense is back in full and the schedule is ridiculously easy. Besides Iowa, I think they'll find a way to drop at least 2 more. -
I was looking for awhile and settled on Ebay in order to get decent lower deck seats for the 16th. There's a couple other pairs on there and some slightly overpriced ones on stubhub.com.
