QUOTE(Soxy @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 10:59 AM) How hard you stare at the first image (and how long) will affect how long the after image lasts. Yep. I first thought it may have been a catch. Like the first time you view it, it plays in color, and every other time after that it will appear in black and white, if you move the video to that spot. However, I tried it again, and it still worked. I just think it's cool how it reverts into B&W, if you blink in the middle of the real picture.

I would be incredibly pissed to find someone like Pujols dragged into this s***. But the one thing everytime one of these steroid allegations/problems come up, I just gain more respect/admiration for Frank Thomas. He's the one guy that has been on the other side of this story for 16 years now.

Series Preview: White Sox vs. Indians By Justin Udany After taking 2 of 3 from the Tigers, the White Sox will welcome the third place Cleveland Indians to town. The Sox are now 1.5 games back of Detroit while the Indians once again find themselves under .500 after losing 2 of 3 to the A's. The Sox bring their 36-23 record into the last series of this 6 game home stand. MORE

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 11:16 PM) Rivals says otherwise. I see that now, but the first thing that came up on a search was his scout profile. I never heard of the guy. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=1872076

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 08:44 PM) Im with you Brian... ^^^ Angelina is attractive, but she scares me a bit too.

I updated to one better.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) I think Jose Valentin should still be our 3B/SS... ...but that has more to do with a freakishly weird, yet completely natural obsession with the sexy beast that is Jose Valentin. And a freakishly large pic of Manos

QUOTE(sircaffey @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 06:18 PM) If people had a choice, would you rather have Brady Clark and Matt Wise or Torii Hunter? Exactly... Err, I read your first post wrong. We're in agreeance.
-
QUOTE(sircaffey @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 06:15 PM) Why go after a top notch CF instead of a top notch RP? Did last year teach us nothing? Those guys you named are no one that should be in an important role for a World Series caliber team. If you are going to tap out on something, tap out on the best available pitching. God knows we need it. Our bullpen is A LOT bigger problem than CF. Last year should have taught us that pitching wins championships. And our bullpen is less than stellar.

McNair Bound For Baltimore
greasywheels121 replied to greasywheels121's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I don't think McNair's finished. And even if he is, he's still the best QB's Baltimore has seen in years. -
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 04:41 PM) Interesting to note... No one took a shot at Danny Almonte. Or Jeffery Maier.
-
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 04:40 PM) I'd love for him to finish the season with some impressive numbers. Agreed. I really want to see the guy finish with a career average above .300 (currently at .305). So his BA could use just a little bit of a spike for safety, but all his numbers are right on par.
-
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 02:00 PM) I will be at the game hoping that Jon keeps it up. Pitching inside is key. Its time to rock the Gambler. Don't take any pictures of Kenny Rogers.

Garland's looked better with each start; I see no reason for him to not continue that trend. Let's get back into 1st!

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) The question is, which is the bigger risk? Right now, if he can't get any hits at all, then the bigger risk is keeping him up. If Walker is right, and this is entirely a mental problem with him, then if he can't pick up a few hits up here, we're gonna have to send him down before he starts screwing with his mechanics and it winds up being more than just a mental problem. It appears that way from what they say at the end:

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 10:04 AM) No, I don't even know what BBTN stands for. Is that Baseball Tonight? Didn't see it. Did someone on ESPN suggest it? Harold Reynolds foolishly said that Cintron is filling that black hole the Sox have in CF. It was a nice mistake on his part.
-
QUOTE(minorsfan @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 10:01 AM) You're correct. Arnie Munoz was demoted to Birmingham from Charlotte, while Nate Cornejo was promoted from Birmingham to Charlotte all on June 5. Hm..I must have confused him with Diaz.
-
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 09:16 AM) I thought I saw somewhere as well that Munoz got sent down to Birmingham? Arnie Munoz? I'm pretty sure the Sox cut him this last spring.
-
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 09:45 AM) OK, I'm going to throw an idea out here for CF. Might be a little nuts. But worth a shot. Does anyone think Cintron could play CF? You were watching BBTN, weren't you?
-
I don't even think Indiana was looking at the guy.
-
QUOTE(ChiSox35 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 01:19 AM) My favorite is how guys like Albert Pujols were "saving" baseball this year. It's '98 all over again. Easy to see why Bert took the time to defend Barroid a few weeks ago. :headshake
-
QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 12:56 AM) this is just a rumor from Murphy on 670... but he said... that BMac for eyre and Howry is a possibility... The Sox may be desperate for pen relief, but they sure as hell aren't stupid.
