I just saw it. And I thought it was awesome. I may like this one more than the first, and definitely more than the 2nd. And that's f***in' priceless that they got that Juggernaut line into the movie!! If you don't know what I'm talking about: WATCH THIS, regardless if you plan to see the movie or not. And WilliamTell, ****SPOILER alert***** the scene I saw after the credits was Professor X reincarnated into the body of another in a hospital. Obviously saying that he's not dead.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 26, 2006 -> 03:50 PM) zambrano has a no hitter going and the braves have a run I think the Sox were no-hit by the Yankees in the very early 90s or late 80s, any won the game 1-0. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores...id=199007010CHA I found it. July 1, 1990, and the score was actually 4-0.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 26, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) I dont know how I feel about a lack of Gambit. Gambit turns things pink and they fizzle and pop, right? (i kid I kid, I know he charges items and they explode) Rogue is basically phased out right now anyways, Wolverine and Jean Grey have become the focus of the series. Whats the point of bringing Gambit in to start a side story that probably wont be finished. Next time they pick an actress to play Rogue, it better be a sassy southern HOT chick. Because Paquin just aint cutting it Gambit was the guy with the cards. He was very cool. And I personally find Paquin very attractive, but she doesn't have the sas that Rogue did have. I don't know if that's the writers fault or Paquin's.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 26, 2006 -> 03:08 PM) I swear, the guy standing next to O-face girl looks like AJ with a short haircut I think the best one is the guy between O-face girl and your AJ look-alike. It's Bill Cowher. Someone pointed that out yesterday, and thought it was pretty good.

I'm seeing it at 10:45 tonight. And I hear there's a scene they show after all the credits have ended. So be on the lookout for that.

QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ May 26, 2006 -> 12:31 PM) Good thing I'm not wearing an Orioles hat then. I'd really be screwed. That immediately reminded me of the Seinfeld episode. -
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 26, 2006 -> 11:25 AM) I only noticed because I came into the thread to post one thing, then saw a post I wanted to reply to, and then when I tried posting what I had initially meant to post it got thrown into the reply post and it was a wholly unintended (and inappropriate) non-sequeter. Long story short (I know, too late!), I came on to post something I found humorous about an inuendo-laden gays in the military headline I read, and it got pasted into the Brain [sic] in the Fire Dept. reply, and it seemed to be an odd response to Queen's post. Not wanting to offend an unknown but no doubt significant number of gay firefighter Soxtalkers, I deleted my quip about the headline. It is now funny to me and me alone. In other words, business as usual. Nice.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 26, 2006 -> 10:50 AM) Ah, nothing wrong with a little home field advantage is there, Mr. 40K+?? Heh. I like it, personally. It still registers as a new post to people who haven't seen the addition, when someone adds on in that way. I don't know what it does to post count or anything. However, I do know that posts will be seperated if written by the same person, if there's enough time between the 2 posts.

QUOTE(JimH @ May 26, 2006 -> 10:58 AM) Yes. Not all the time though. I just thought you guys were kinda ganging up on him is all. He's also said he idolizes and wants to be just like Mariotti. I say he's getting what he deserves.

Happy birthday x 3!!!

Fields would have to be the next A-Rod for me to justify getting rid of Crede right now. I just don't understand why the Sox would have waited all that time for Crede to become something. And now that he's playing the best defense in the league at 3B and hitting pretty well, I don't see why the Sox would be willing to give all that up, especially since Fields could go through all the struggles in the majors that Crede did.

Sanctions announced against Sampson

QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 25, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) I mean Sampson Hasn't done anything of that such at IU, and he doesn't have much reason to with IU's stature. Also, with the nice little clauses IU put into his contract to can his ass at any kind of slip-up without penalty, would be pretty good incentive to not repeat any mistakes IMO. -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 25, 2006 -> 05:30 PM) Ehh, he's still dirty. I've heard stories from IU faculty of Knight taking away cars their parents gave to them, because of the fear of allegations etc. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 25, 2006 -> 05:12 PM) The heirarchy programs are ignored for a reason. Mike Davis doesn't even matter. And Bobby Knight sure did have a reputation of being a dirty coach. :rolly -
